Man idk if my car was a special factory build and it came out with more hp than normal but it is a 16 road and track rt It is stock aside from an off brand cold air intake And 315 street tires on the rear it ran 8.885 in the 8th at 80mph. Was planning on running nitrous but ended up getting a hellcat and gave the rt to my brother for a Christmas gift
Love your videos!! I have a 2015 300s. Who is doing your tunes? Engine & Transmission? I’m using the Diablo Trinity system with their computer. Cheers!
@@DonnySRT gotcha. Seems like some of the fastest runs are leaving the line without being on the TC hard too, like barely off idle at the light, mat it and leave. I assume it's a bit trickier to get the light, but might do a bit better off the line with the ZF8. Not sure maybe it helps with the shifts or something. Newer ZF stuff is magic
Doesn't sound like you're even stalling it up for the launch. Sounds like you just floored it on green. That kinda negates the entire purpose of the converter.
you need to test to see where your actual stall speed is. it wont be at 3400. could be 3200 or 3600. look online on how to do that. then get yourself a rev limiter or something to hold your rpm just below your actual stall. when you drag race your rpm will be higher hence more power ready to go and as soon as the light goes green you release your rev limiter button and your brake pedal, and you will slingshot off the line. you will shave a hefty amount off your time. you leaving the line from idle is slow af. read bout it. youre welcome
Hope you get that converter to work right. Hope we could race next time we go to the drag strip. Keep up the good work and be safe
Some interesting times. My Intake, Headers, Tune with a 180 thermostat 2011 Charger R/T ran an 8.7 in the 1/8th mile for comparison.
Bro I used to watch you when I was 16-17 now I got my own rt
W comment congratulations !!🎉
Congratulations bro! That’s awesome to hear. Drive safe!
That same day I ran my best time at 8.43

Thats not a good time to be honest
very nice still grinding it out! lessgo baby!
dentist says i grind in my sleep. he's real for that
You haven't installed the one piece driveshaft yet? If not, and you plan to, be sure to rear diff brace.
What you think about upgrading the cylinder heads? Pricy but should give you at least another 30hp
I really should have gotten the heads ported when I had em off for the cam install. I regret not doing it
@@DonnySRT you'd literally be the 1st with person FBO cam heads and torque converter. I'd love to see how much faster your car would be

Thanks man! It’s ZHTunes.
Have you thought about the 1320/Demon springs?
If i was really trying to maximize the gains, I would. But I already have the matching Eibach springs and shocks so I am hesitant to replace them
What does the converter actually stall? How much tighter is it then advertised? Thanks
It's only stalling at like 2400 bro lol
0-60 time?
i dont think its a 3400 stall that sound and seemlike liek a 2800 stall i got a 3200 stall on my charger for circle d and i love it
Did you tune the torque converter?
Need a trans tune or something. 2-3, 3-4 sounds sluggish? Almost delayed. Car sounds awesome. Rippin!
Yes in that intro clip I accidentally left it in manual shifting mode which is why it hit the limiter and sounded sluggish on that 2-3

The car runs faster when you leave off idle, converter flashes higher
Needs more gear.
