Hahaha, it was a great day but I attribute that to Tass having the patience to put up with us two grown children 🤣🤣🤣

the man the legend .Khalif because of the fact that the govt.of guam offers such huge discounts on everything from housing to food etc ONLY to military personnel, which i think is ridiculous i left guam. I favor saipan now. But it doesnt take away from the fact that guam is unbelievably beautiful. Lets show this brother some love like and subscribe hes doing good.

Actually it's quite the opposite. The government of Guam doesn't offer discounts to the military. Due to the fact the the military receives a housing allowance as a benefit, that drives up the prices of housing on the island. From what many locals have told me is that the average cost of rent have double and almost tripled over the past 10 to 15 years. Real estate and prices of home have gone up as well. There are a lot of homeless people on island because of this (along with drug habits). In some cases, grown adult children can't afford to move out on their own and are pretty much forced to continue living in the family home due to overinflated housing costs. As far as food, a lot of military members shop on base at the commissary which offers less expensive food items but the difference in cost isn't that much. In fact, sometimes it's cheaper to shop in the local supermarkets.

@@big_mon1 thanks khalif for clearing that up . When you said " Due to the fact the the military receives a housing allowance as a benefit, that drives up the prices of housing on the island" I think the U.S govt should pay for that allowance because if they did housing prices would not go up. In basically all the grocery stores and supermarkets restaurants etc on the island military do get huge discounts that non military cant. You are #1 brother the best . you showcase my favorite places japan and guam and are entertaining you got personality and swag

@@skinbleaching125 no problem. Yes, the US federal government pays the housing allowance for the military. Not the government of Guam. Landlords and property owners on island take advantage of the fact that military personnel get a housing allowance in order to capitalize on their property investments. The military discounts that you speak of are also extended to members of the Guam national guard, military retirees and the military reserve units. A large majority of Guam residents are either guard, reserve or retired military. I'm sure if those benefits went away, there will be a lot of upset locals who have earned the right to receive those discounts..... I truly appreciate your support 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
