Thanks, I was surprised by how much it improved in later years following my first impression. They changed from friction to magnetic brakes and it's been great since!
@@RollercoasterDavid agreed! I've seen most rollercoaster youtubers by now, and you are top3 for me. (OKAYcoasters, coasterstudios being the other two). Your reviews are always on point.
the sound of the linear motors at the second launch, the screams of the people and the theming around make for a great atmosphere in phantasialand. miss it
Wow this is really a different kind of top ten but in a positive way...I really liked that you said exactly why you liked the specific coaster and not just put them in some kind of order without an explanation
Another good video. As a North American Coaster Enthusiast, I enjoy watching your videos of coasters outside of the U.S. I definitely plan to include a visit to one or two parks the next time I travel to Europe.
I always liked your perspective, but seeing you rank Taron at 1, just confirmed that. Loved this list and I couldn't agree more. I might have Blue fire slightly higher on mine but this was well done
Nice List and im Happy that u included Wodan :) My List actual: 1:Kärnan 2:Taron 3:Fly 4:GeForce 5:Wodan 6:Colossos 7:Blue Fire 8:Black Mamba 9:Silver Star 10:Fluch von Novgorod
I'm doing a germany trip in 2022, And I'm already hyped, despite it being two years away lol. And Karnan is fore sure the most hyped on that trip for me.
Karnan has always been on number one for me. You see I know that taron is really Impressive that’s why it is my number two best experience. But i still shed more tears on the beautiful Karnan then taron
I didn´t like Kärnan at all, but it´s still a great list! I completely agree about Taron and GeForce, and it´s also nice to see some appreciation for Black Mamba.. which I also love to ride in the front row!
There's no completion really, mystery mine is ok, but it's really quite rough now and not very pleasant to ride, where Novgorod is great! Check out the videos I've made on Hansa park and Dollywood if you want more on both of them.
The big three in Germany are almost interchangeable, but for me, it is 1. Expedition GeForce 2. Der Schwur des Kärnan 3. Taron 4. Colossos 5. Silver Star 6. Karacho 7. Wodan 8. Black Mamba 9. Fluch von Novgorod 10. Flug der Damönen
I am just a coaster noob, basicly became fan last year when friend pulled me to Energylandia. So far I was only there (and going next moth again for Abyssus) and Phantasialand but I definitely plan to visit many more. Personally I like Mamba even more than Taron, except it is really short, or at least it feels like it
Ngl I thought I would see startrack from movie park here Maybe it was just me because I was never on an actual rollercoaster before But it was pretty cool on that ride :]
I've not ridden Taron.... Well not yet but I definitely agree on Kärnan and Novgorod being two amazing rides. I'm not really sure tho about Colossos because I've had some good rides and some really bad rides were it was running extremely slow even tho it was after lunch
I miss Arthur (Europa Park) Its my personal favorite, because it is typically a roller coaster that does not roll over (I find it too scary) and neither goes too fast or too slow. Well, when I see the Europa Park reviews. Its my all-time favorite from the reviews :)
I'm glad you ranked Silver Star so high, it really deserves more love! However I still rank Wodan 1st and Blue Fire 2nd at Europa Park because of their theming, but I do agree that Silver Star is the best of the three if you only take the thrills into account.
what coaster do you think is going to be converted first in an RMC: coaster express, stampida or magnum collosus in terra mitica? Also what of this coasters do you want the most to be converted in an RMC?
I'm not sure if either of them are likely to get an RMC conversion any time soon, coaster express has recently had an extensive retracking, stampida has also had reprofiling and a fair bit of work on it and whilst I haven't been to Terra mitica, from what I know they're very unlikely to have a large investment like an RMC. To me, loup garou at walibi Belgium is the most likely candidate for Europe's next rmc
Yeah, I went last year to all the major parks, but never took any video at the time. I wrote a big trip report on coaster force if you want to take a look coasterforce.com/forums/threads/a-somewhat-dubai-ous-trip-uae-jan-2019.43237/
In Eastern Germany is a small very underated themepark. It's more focused on families but it Hay a very good GCI and the best mack rides big dipper. It's Hay also good theming so I recomend this to everyone für a europe Trip. PS: Sorry for my bad englisch im from Germany
I assume you mean plohn and the other el Toro? It's a good ride and narrowly missed out on being in this list. I haven't ridden the new big dipper yet, but hopefully I will some day!
I really like most of the list. While certainly I rank Novgorod and especially Karacho higher, I can see your reasons. BUT The one opinion, that is (sorry to swear here) ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT, is putting Taron as the No.1 in Germany, while its pretty fcking not. Taron is a darn Family Ride That gets way too long lines.
Imo you missed F.L.Y. Star Trek: Operation Enterprise And the Sky Rocket 2 clone at Holiday Park All of them better than Wodan, Blue Fire and Siler Star imo
i wanna ride all of them except for the ones at europa. kind of a whack lineup there, might skip it when i do a germany trip. i know the **theming is phenomenal** but none of their coasters excite me
Yes! Someone else who appreciates Silver Star! This was a really good list, you really deserve more subs

Kärnan is better than silver stat

I loved all ten of these coasters so much, and I enjoyed reliving them through your spot-on descriptions. Great video.
Germany is such s good county for coasters!
the sound of the linear motors at the second launch, the screams of the people and the theming around make for a great atmosphere in phantasialand.

Great list my most anticipated rides are
Karnan
Expedition GeForce
Taron
F.L.Y
and Colossos
Wow this is really a different kind of top ten but in a positive way...I really liked that you said exactly why you liked the specific coaster and not just put them in some kind of order without an explanation

Great list, the only thing I have different is the order of the coasters of Europapark. I hope to see more of these lists in the future!

I wouldn’t have expected it before I went to Germany, but Taron was my favorite in the country as well.
Kärnan and Taron are my favourites too!

Great video! 👍🏼 Would compare Mystery Mine at Dollywood to FVN at Hansa Park??

There's a lot of good rides to choose from in Germany.

Have you been to The E.A.U
The European Association of Urology? I can definitely say I have not been there! Do you mean the UAE? Abdu Dhabi and Dubai?
Rollercoaster David oh yeah the UEA sorry (EAU in french😅) in particulary Ferrari World

I loved Plohn. An original little park.
Bruh i forgot to say the name of the Park
It's Plohn btw
And its my homepark
I think that was the one that had the insanely spinny rapids type ride
Rollercoaster David And Miniwah, the dark ride that suddenly decides it wants to be a coaster.
Id swap Kärnan and Taron, also i'd add F.L.Y to the list, but i guess to the time the list was made F.L.Y. wasnt operating yet.
1. Kärnan
2. Fly
3. Expedition Geforce
4. Taron
5. Colossos
Silverstar over Karacho??
Where is star trek?
Probably around 11 or 12, it's a good ride but not quite good enough for the top 10
Kärnan
F.L.Y.
Taron
GeForce
Colossos
Karacho
Silverstar
Star Trek Operation Enterprise
Fluch von Novgorod
Wodan
No Taron first
Expedition GeForce fer sure
I have a slight feeling you like inverts, judging by your rankings of Nemesis, NI, and Black Mamba.
There isn't really a bad b&m invert that I've ridden, they're not my all time favourite, but nemesis and black mamba are great examples
Expedition GeForce should be number 2 right behind taron
Kärnan should be number 1
