Ive been watching your shf db reviews from way back (og ssj3 goku era). I remember as a kid asking you if I should glue the ssj2 teen gohan’s arms since they kept falling off, and you told me no. Very cool how youre a part of my childhood! Thanks Anthony!
A figure that is underrated is Zarbon. Besides his shoulder pads his articulation is great, and the overall sculpt is straight out the anime. Wish Tamashii made all their figures equally
I have full power Broly and Majin Buu and he is spot on with how amazing those figures are. They are both top 5 favorites in my collection of around 20.
Oh I’m so happy Cooler made it to number one, that was one the most expensive figures I bought but I love it. Also he’s my favorite Dragonball villain.
I'm very happy to see Cooler as #1 here. It's such a fantastic figure with great articulation and detail. If another one was manufactured in China with better QC and had a different shade of purple, I would easily buy another one for myself. And yeah, an in-depth video discussing the new Super Saiyan Goku would be great to see. ^^
I love number 1 on the list. Probably my second favorite, I have a 2nd form frieza bias (favorite character/design in db). I hope that cooler gets a special color variant of some kind in the future. I'd love to see him be the same purple as the dragon stars
The only problem with ssj awakening goku is that when goku was on planet namek his shoes had red rope and yellow designs, however that one has what he got after returning to earth with red designs and yellow rope
Great list. I have been collecting some of the recent DB figuarts and I regret not doing that earlier because now I want a lot of the figures in this list. I decided to grab the Super Buu one after watching your review and I don't regret it, that figure is huge and fun to pose. I really want to see that Goku video, it would be cool if you start uploading your early thoughts on other figures, too.
Cool list. krillin 2.0 should have been an honorable mention. they nailed the sculp and the 3.0 articulation is absolutely awesome. good accessories with the senzu beans and kienzan(destructo disc)! tenshinhan with articulated chiaozu is another. Where you can you find a fully articulated chiaozu?
I realise that I am two days late to comment, [but] I could not miss this video. I bloody loved Anthony’s Top 10 list for S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball figures! Dragon Ball (original, Z, and Super) is my favourite anime, of all-time! Easily. Now, in terms of quality, sculpt, articulation and accessories, S.H. Figuarts has really stepped up their game. I remember the early days of Figuarts’ Dragon Ball action figures. They’ve come a long way. Today, their quality has improved (Saiyan Armour Krillin and SSJ Trunks not included); these are some truly impressive figures - and I can attest to Anthony’s subjective/objective take and ranking, since I own nearly half of the figures shown here myself. However, I reckon I still need to get my hands on the top 3… that Super Buu in particular has my fancy. Overall, I enjoyed the video, mate. 👍 Grazie, Arrivederci, Giovanni Marino, M.D.

Been a long while since you did this Anthony, I remember you got me started in collecting the Sh figuarts Dragon ball line and one of the first toy reviewers I watched all those years ago, hoping you do a top 10 Spider-man line too someday!
Can’t disagree with any of these choices. Super Buu and both Super Broly figures are among my top five favorites. I have to give some credit to Bardock (personal bias) but most of these others can’t be beat. Raditz is another that I feel was done very well. Fingers crossed we can get a really stellar retooled Vegeta one day.
More top 10s! Full power broly is my favorite shf that figure is awesome. I would like to see more rank/discussion videos or maybe when you stream you can go through new revealed figures and talk about them with the chat.
Great list as usual, looking more objectively I'd probably agree on top ten picks with similar thoughts to you for not liking Jiren either being a boring character and design just powerful but the full power figure was too good to pass up. Only changes Id make is just in slightly different order but Super Buu and Cooler would definitely be top 3. I'd maybe add Tao, DKP, or Krillin to the list or at least HM.
I say this list is spot on. The only figure from this list that I'm missing from my collection is the original Z Broly Edit: Finally found the original release of Z Broly for under 400$ so I had to pick him up and I gotta agree he definitely earns a place on this list.

My top 10 is very similar I must admit, I think bardock would be in my top 10 above say turles, also for me the frieza 1.0 that was my first figure in a collection of 77 so it holds a dear place in my heart , I still don't have the og 17 & 18 which still to this day makes my collection feel unfinished
Dope list man. I hear nothing but great things from the turles release. I know Anthony doesn’t like the Chainsaw man character but tamashii nations did a fantastic job with their version of the character. Power is pretty great as well!
its not that i dont like the character. i just havent watched the anime and it doesnt appeal to me from what ive seen. i know almost nothing about the character.
Good video. This new Goku looks amazing. Finally DB sh figures with some propper bulk. Full power DB Super Broly for me has one glaring flaw-feet are fricking way too big,but other than that he is fricking awesome.
Awesome video some really solid figures for sure, tamashii has been killing it with the SHF line and can’t wait till some more great figures release like the Meta Cooler!! I am surprised to see SS4 Goku or Vegeta isn’t on the list but these are all solid figs tbh

2.0 Kaioken Goku is sooooo underrated and honestly I have a hot take that full power Frieza will be a better looking figure than the ssj Goku, it has so much potential to be a top 5 or so caliber figure
I just got the freezer yesterday and I don't know if I got a faulty one or not but his back keeps falling off, yeah his back. And the joint pegs on the shoulder are a nightmare. I might go grab another one just because this figure is ridiculously cool looking and I'm hoping this is just a faulty one
I agree with the top 3. I only own a couple of Dragon Ball figures because I can't bring myself to buy more. To me 90% are simply terrible and the other 10% are passable. You destroyed the Imagination Works Goku in your review and although it deserved it, I will say that that body with the SSJ head looks very very nice. The SHF DBS Hero Goku is just gross to me, for example. My disappointment in those products and watching your "Making an action figure from scratch" series inspired me to create my own Goku figure, which I've been doing, but after seeing the upcoming SSJ Legendary Goku I feel like I don't need to anymore. That thing is gorgeous, can't wait!
You know something curious Anthony? We've never have a Vegeta in the TOP lists of the SH Figuarts...and it's curious because is the main character with Gokú...Tamashii needs to do a better job with Vegeta figures, we need a Battle Damage Vegeta definetly

This list tells the truth without saying it about how big villains are better than the main characters. Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, etc are really small so the detail is very poor. That’s why figure rise standard line looks more proportioned

That Super Broly is just really good imo.
And SS4 Vegeta had that weirdly broad thigh lip going on. SS4 Goku is top-tier, though.
