- In this video we travel from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar by Car covering a distance of 260 Kms in our Tata Nexon AMT. We took the Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar journey in Dec 2022 and will share the complete details with you about the road trip in this video. For Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar Road Trip you must take the Mumbai Pune expressway, then take the Pune - Bengaluru Bypass to go beyond Katraj and then take the Pune Bengaluru highway up to a diversion for Wai, proceed up to Wai and take the Wai - Panchgani - Mahabaleshwar Route. You can refer this video in case you are travelling from Pune to Mahabaleshwar, Pune to Panchgani or Mumbai to Panchgani by road. One can also travel to Mahabaleshwar by train or directly by sleeper bus.
The road conditions are good overall and the route isnt that difficult for a Road Trip. We enjoyed the journey thoroughly and you can refer our video to get a fair understanding of the route and the conditions.

After Panchgani, Just after the hotel Ravine about 200 meters after on the right, you will see an old Parsee heritage house called Meherbai house. Owned by actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao. We met Aamir and Kiran there while on vacation. Kiran is my cousin. Go slow after Ravine hotel if you get a chance. Happy New Year 2023🎉🎊🪔

visited ganapatipule in Dec 1st week. Went via Karad/ Kumbharli ghat road. Road condition is very good all the way thru Karad. Bet it will Good thru Bangalore.

Hi how nexon amt performed on steep ghat section? Have you faced any any bumper to bumper traffic on ghats and how it performed.? Nice vedio covering all the details
Amt performs very well on steep ghats. You can use the manual mode to change gears as per your requirement. Hope you watched our Ladakh series. The car performed exceptionally well in rough hilly terrains. 😊
Sir, after our conversation in comments I booked Nexon XZA+ Petrol AMT.
The waiting period is very much high and due to this people say its because Tata has halted production of AMT models for nexon due to issues in AMT gearbox and clutch plate burning in previous Nexon AMTs.
Will purchase an extended warranty with this for peace of mind.
Btw, your vlog is amazing and informative at the same time.
Yes, waiting period would be high especially when people are now opting more for automatic. Gearbox doesnt have any issues, should be a one off issue. I havent seen issues across different forums too recently. Do take the extended warranty and enjoy the drives. 😊
I test drove the Nexon AMT multiple times. No doubt in my mind that it was extremely jerky. Amaze CVT automatic was like butter scotch.
Tata has to fix the AMT gear issue fast.
@@speedbird109 That cant be a deal breaker for some one who is a first time car buyer because he doesn't know how smooth real automatics are.

Hi, no tolls after we leave the national highway. Only entry charges for Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. Keep the entry receipts for the duration of your visit. 😊 Enjoy the vacations !!!

What were the toll charges at mumbai pune and khed shivapur toll? And was the toll charges for return also.
Mumbai Pune expressway toll is Rs 270
Khed Shivpur is Rs 110
