In this video, I’m challenging you to keep your next TH-cam video to just two minutes-no more dragging things out! I’ll break down how to create short, impactful content quickly and efficiently.
1. Create a Simple Outline: Pick a topic and structure your video around three simple steps. Keep it tight, straightforward, and focused.
2. Start Filming: Turn on your camera and start recording. Get to the point quickly-introduce your steps and keep the energy high. Remember, you’ve only got two minutes!
2.5. Include a Call to Action: Before wrapping up, sneak in a quick call to action to engage your audience without losing momentum.
3. Edit Efficiently: Don’t stress about perfection. Trim any fluff, and keep the final cut concise and to the point.
By following these steps, you can create a short, punchy video that gets the job done without wasting time. If you’re struggling to come up with content ideas or need help refining your message, check out the link in the description for personalized guidance.
Now, go ahead-make that two-minute video! And if you want more tips on creating short, impactful content, click on the next video.

Another great walk-a-talk, especially the bumping into your friend part! 🎉👍
Hahaaa! I actually had invited Paolo to join me at that meetup, so I wasn't _totally_ shocked to meet him, but I love that he was game to be on the vlog! If you know anyone that needs IT services - Paolo is a gem! And his company is WiseIT.
Health and fitness. Great energy
LEGEND. You're so good too! Love that you're helping people get fit. Thanks a ton!
This is how you make viewers binge watch multiple of your videos 💪 awesome
Haha! YES! Use cliffhangers strategically with your final point in the video and drop. that. link to the next one!
@@supersimplemarketing 👌
I see what you’re doing with the red glasses. I’m here for it!
haha! tbh I'm not *totally* sure what I'm doing with the red glasses but I'll tell ya that I'm a huge Casey Neistat fan, and I'm bad at looking directly at the camera (that's a clue)😜and they're also prescription! And California is (almost) always sunny.
@@supersimplemarketing well keep it up! They say you can’t be famous without a “thing” the red classes make you identifiable… I like it.
@@2b_unique_d ah! a business coach friend of mine pointed this out to me too yesterday! And she said KEEP USING THEM. haha I won’t ignore this - both of yall saying it’s a great move!
My niche is sewing and refashioning!!!
That is SO cool! What’s refashioning?
I like your videos. Just waiting for the next ones (are he gonna post one today....). So funny and entertaining. I like your energy, the outdoor filming and finally the red sunglasses are the cherry on the cake. Congratulations.
HAHA! Thanks a ton! I got these orange sneakers last year, and when the time came to get new sunglasses, I thought what the heck, let's just get matching(?) glasses - appreciate you!
I am the niche I'm passionate about music, AI, manufacturing painting and making content on TH-cam! I've started putting out videos 5 days ago.
Great advice man! My niche are fitness and TH-cam growth. Been studying and learning so much about TH-cam that I want to give some of my insight as a beginner TH-camr to others 🙂
yoooo that's awesome! document your journey - there's things you know now as a beginner that others who are thinking of beginning don't know yet - that's a great place to start!
I post once a week but I am going to try this to add a 2nd video per week. Thank you, I'm also going to watch your other videos for helpful tips. So glad your video came up on my home page.
That's awesome! So glad you found me and that you found this helpful, Denise! Two minute videos are a great exercise too - making shorter videos helped me focus my ideas and my teaching style. Appreciate you!
Great energy and message Ed! Thank you!👍👍
Yoooo, Patrick McPatrick my man!! So glad you enjoyed it!
BTW you know what I've been enjoying? AIR FRYER EGGS almost every day this week because of your video! So so good! Super thankful for you - and anyone reading this that has an air fryer - sub to this man right away! 👆🏼
Love your channel, too, Patrick!
@@youareastarbaby YAS
Great energy 😎👍
ayyyye thanks a ton! a great principle I learned from Think Media (fantastic channel btw) - "Be you times two on video - because the camera adds 10 pounds to your weight and cuts your energy in half 😂"
honestly pretty accurate for me so if anything I err on the side of more energy
I love your videos so much!! I will start using your tips!
I so appreciate you saying that! Thanks a ton and lmk how it goes! What's the best tip for you in this one?
My niche is digital art and animation
I only just made my first video two days ago :)
Yooooooo congrats! That’s huge! And I love animation! (I dreamed of working for Disney as an animator when I was a kid)
@@supersimplemarketing Thank you! (I feel like a lot of people dreamed of working for Disney as kids 😂)
Love your positive vibe my man, subscribed!
Ayyye thanks a ton! Where are you at in your content creation journey?
@@supersimplemarketing I'm a full time content producer/marketer working a 9-5 in Norway for the last few years. The thought of starting a TH-cam channel has been circulating in my mind for over a decade by this point, but unsure what niche to pick.
I totally get that difficulty with niche!
One new insight on vlogging for me from Think Media and Benji Travis (Think Podcast #328 - I only know the episode number because it's _really_ changed my channel, and kinda changed my life!) - this style of video is more about having a theme than having a tight niche. So if you'd like to make videos along the lines of what I'm making, it's not all about the niche after all!
My niche is unique, I try not to overthink and learn as I go.
Good for you!
Niche: welding and fabricating, want to show off skills, build weird funnyy things, show the kinds of things i work on, im also planning something to mabye make my channel more interactive with my audience, like build a little metal mascot or something like that and choose a comment from somebody of something i should add to it like a gear ⚙️ or something like that.
I find myself always trying to think of a unique idea to add to my channel that would hopefully make it blow up.
Oh that's awesome! I'm always a bit surprised at which videos blow up - it doesn't even always make sense later! but the more we make, the more we learn. That's such a dope skill that you've got. Lmk if there's video topics that you'd like me to cover!
Made my 2 minute video! Very little editing, let's see how it does!
FIRE. Let's friggin gooooooooooooooooooo!
❤ I love it here
we love you too fam! what kind of content are you making?
@@supersimplemarketing Fitness and lifestyle vlogs
@@Teehmrotsane oh awesome! Vlogging is such a great way to make videos and grow an audience in 2024! Lmk if you have any questions or any topics you’d like me to make a video abt next!
you are an inspiration!!!! i love these walking talking advice giving videos! 😂
Yoooo Tammy! Appreciate you! Love your studio vid and your work! Hahaha one of these days I'll get out of the South Bay and go walk in DTLA near your studio!
If that's the Osmo Pocket 3 that you're using to record your video....I made the best investment lol!
Even though I have a Lumix S5ii Camera Rigged up for cinema shooting. I would hate to vlog with my lumix because how heavy it is!
Great video! Makes me want to start posting content ASAP!
You called it - it's that Osmo Pocket 3! Shoots beautiful bright video straight outta the box!
Haha my other camera is a Sony ZV-1F and it's not even that heavy but I feel the exact same way about it as you do about your Lumix! Thanks a ton - go shoot some content right quick! 😊
Personal development and digital content creation for brands
Ooh! Huge potential there! How did you choose that niche?
Adventure, camping, hiking, bushcrafts😊 come join the fun 😊
yooooo that sounds like SO much fun! awesome!
My niche? TTRPGs (Tabletop Roleplaying Games), like Dungeons and Dragons.
Though I've honestly been thinking of starting a personal development brand as well...
OOH. That's fire. And honestly... I think there's some real interesting crossover between the two! Like how improv as a corporate team-building activity is taking off. But personal development is a field where there's always people wanting more. Lmk if there's anything particular you'd like me to make a video about!
@supersimplemarketing There's definitely crossover potential. Though it's not why I'm considering personal development, I have considered integrating it.
And since it's fitting for the conversation, I'd love to see a video on shifting or changing niches.
@@unrulyarcana2394that’s awesome! Alright - pivoting/changing niches is on the list of upcoming topics!
Niche: Nature and easy vlogs.
Ooh nice! That sounds great. How long have you been making these?
Niche: Journey to break away from working for others and lead a more fulfillng life
Oh that's awesome! What a great and needed topic! Lmk if there's anything I could make a video about that would help you with creating content there!
My niche is mindset and transformation for Christian women over 40
What a great niche! How did you get started with it?
Niche: Midlife|Retirement with purpose (I know, you drive a truck through that…I’m working on it). I love your content. THANKS!
haha! I guess you could - but it's a start and that's what's important! to use another car analogy... you can't steer a parked car! you're on the move and that's awesome! lmk if there's anything particular I should make a video about that'd help you!
Personal development for Christian men is my niche.
So good! Love that. Crucial!
I'm in the digital marketing niche. It's kind of broad and I'm working on niching down a bit.
Ooh! I feel you there! Is there a platform that you're especially good at? Or maybe a kind of customer that you want to work more with?
@@supersimplemarketing Thanks for the reply. I'm good with video so TH-cam is my comfort zone. I like to work with authors, creators, coaches, consultants and help them create, market and sell digital products like coaching, courses, books, memberships etc.
You're so inspiring and fun!
ayyye thanks a ton Amber! Appreciate you! Where are you at in your content creation journey?
Music and lifestyle vlog
SO COOL! Love your music! Lmk if there's any topic around content creation that you'd want me to tackle!
Love this so much! Remember me haha
AYYE. Appreciate you coming so early in my journey! I will! What kind of content are you making?
@@supersimplemarketing Haha thanks! Unsure yet I'm working with a friend and our mission statement is always changing. I just love getting in touch with small creators
My niche is travel
so cool! you've been so many places too!
Niche: automotive and fabrication
That’s awesome! How’d you get started with that?
@@supersimplemarketing cars and fabrication are things I love to do, and it actually seems possible, that I could make money from TH-cam filming something I already like doing!
@@vincentip83 that’s awesome! That’s such a cool niche and it’s so much easier when it’s something that you live and breathe.
Super simple advice for shooting our next videos 😍 I love it @supersimplemarketing! I have some videos to make soon so I will take your advice 😉
YES! Go for it! What's your biggest takeaway from this one? I'm super curious - always looking for what's working since I'm used to my videos getting < 100 views, not > 1000 views! haha
@@supersimplemarketing I really like how you broke it down into actionable steps as well as reminding us that it may not be perfect but just that we need to DO it.
My favorite part aside from the actual advice was that you did it right before your keynote - that reminded me of how busy I can be at home with my 3 high energy boys running around (though 2 will be starting middle school for the first time next week after years of Homeschooling 😀). It made it seem more doable.
BTW my niche is helping Moms Connect with their Kids through Minecraft and my back end passion is helping Moms to level Up their Mompreneur Quests on my other channel 😉
