I don't mean disrespect to One Piece. It's an important and beloved anime.
But the OPs are painfully average. Nothing stands out. Songs, singers and lyrics sounds all the same generic song singed for 20+ times (the first 'We are' is good, maybe the covers not so fresh). Also, a lot of them look and sound like an ENDing.
Even the animation is mediocre and offers little. The protagonists almost always look just happy and determined, I don't find emotion in any OP, and I couldn't find one OP that offers dramatic weight.
In comparison FMA/FMA:B, Dragon Ball, HxH, Naruto, Saint Seiya, AoT offers MUCH unique OPs.
Even this channel's votes/rank/grades of the OPs are generally much below the Naruto Shippuden ones.
