Au Sabot is a very nice brand, with a small team, working efficiently to promote historical regional knives at an affordable price point. There are some gaps, few details that are not percfect, but it's the way it is when we want to deal with handmade tools like these ones. Nonetheless their knives are charming, and reliable.
I have the Amicu (another corsican model) and an Occitan (because it's the region I was born), very happy with both of them.
For the Vendetta shape I bought the kinda mordern version of Cognet, named Vendedouk (same company as Douk-Douk). It looks a bit more agressive, a bit more tatctical in a way, the spring is really strong, and the carbon blade is insanely beautiful to me.
Thanks for this review, it's great to see that our regional knives come across the sea and, even better, that you like dem.
    Blessings from France.

I think the knife is really striking. I love the blade shape, the unusual (to me) bolster shape and those nice horn scales. A little less billboard would make it even better. Still, a beautiful tool.

The branding doesn't bother me but I know some people dislike it. Thanks for watching!
