Reverse Engineering of the MPPT Input Stage

This is a quick and dirty garage reverse engineering of the MPPT input circuitry on a GroWatt 5000 ES.
The PV Plus and minus input leads are shorted. removing the gigantic wad of coil across P1P2 relieves the short circuit
You can see from the circuit I drew that it's a chopper... and are chopping mechanism is shorted
The collector to emitter junctions are shorted or the capacitors across them are shorted
