thank you for showing us how to propagate these gorgeous black roses! I just tried this method today, hopefully I get the same results! Will update after 7 weeks to see if mine did the trick! Happy planting! 🌱🌞✨
~ wanted to update upon this method.. IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! I am already starting to see little green flowers coming out like how it is in the after part of this video in such little time :o It’s so amazing to see these results and growth. Thank you!! 💕
Wish I had seen your video before I cut mine because I threw the steams away because someone told me if you cut them they will not grow new ones. 😭 thank you for sharing your video. I’m a new subscriber.
This said making your succulent to have multi heads. My plant only has one stem, so I don’t want to cut the stem. I want heads to start to grow through the one stem I have.
Yes it was confusing and I thought the same thing. I bought a Mardi Gras single head 6 months ago & was too scared to do a head chop because they are not common here in Perth & mine was not a full size head. What worked for me was removing some of the lower leaves carefully so it comes off clean. I got the idea from watching different videos here in TH-cam. I now have 2 extra little Mardi Gras heads. Just don’t do it during summer time though. Autumn, winter or spring will work. Good luck!
Sometimes naiisip ko kung gano kaganda ung garden mo...I wish you could show us the beauty of your garden one day esp with all those succulents you have which adds a lot of beauty to it :)
Great video! Always remember that No one has the power to shatter your dreams unless you give it to them. no 5:00 skip, i'll always be here to support you, stay connected 🌎🗽💓😍
Thanks Mami , wla kmi net for awhile now next week pa maayos phone data lng gmit ko, 5:45am sa amin yan mi nasa byahe ako niyan to work. Pero play ko pgdating sa work
It depends sis. Pag summer once a week ko siya dinidiligan pero pag winter di ko siya dinidiligan kasi may rain naman, minsan check ko sila if need ng water lalo na pag kulubot na leaves nila it means they need water na
its getting warm now and it is not the best time to propagate them when its hot.. I will try to do it next season for aeonium, it is great to start planting them in early fall season all the way to spring , this is the best growing season for them.
Hi, nice video💙 Can the stem be cut at a lower site and planted into another pit for a to totally new plant (in another pot)? How long will it take to root in it's new pot? Same procedure? Thank you 💕
Yes, that’s my plan too I will cut them once they grow a little more, but I will wait til next season or until this autumn before I cut them again Since Aeonium goes to dormant in summer, don’t wanna take any chances
If you have rooting powder dip the cuttings while it’s still wet but if you don’t have one it’s ok and let it air dry means just let it sit on the side or don’t plant it yEt, after 3 days plant them in the soil but not direct sun, if you are in the US this time is summer and not a good month to propagate them, wait till it cools down, they are a summer dormant and a Winter grower, don’t water them till you see roots, also it takes awhile for them to roots give them about a month 😊
Where are you located? If you’re in the US don’t do it now while it is still summer coz they are dormant right now , wait until it cools down like beginning of fall season

Yes, that’s my plan too

Since Aeonium goes to dormant in summer, don’t wanna take any chances
The cuttings that I plant from this took two months before I saw roots
After u let cutting dry how or what did u do to plant it? How long to replant it or how to get it to root?
If you have rooting powder dip the cuttings while it’s still wet but if you don’t have one it’s ok and let it air dry means just let it sit on the side or don’t plant it yEt, after 3 days plant them in the soil but not direct sun, if you are in the US this time is summer and not a good month to propagate them, wait till it cools down, they are a summer dormant and a Winter grower, don’t water them till you see roots, also it takes awhile for them to roots give them about a month 😊

Yes you can, you should do it soon before it’s too late. Do it while the weather is cool and it is the early spring. Perfect for propagation

Yes pag summer parang patay sila kasi dormant, pero they comes back in winter
Can I cut anywhere along the stem?
Yes you can, also you can cut 1 to 2 inch from the top
Where are you located? If you’re in the US don’t do it now while it is still summer coz they are dormant right now , wait until it cools down like beginning of fall season
Watching here..

I like Aeonium, but it’s really hard to grow in Florida~~^^
Maybe they will do ok if you put them in the shaded area in your located and less watering since Florida is tropical
thinking of buying some too
Yehey, dadami na tayo. Start with few plants first
For California what month is a good time to chop😢
March -May is my preferred month

Should I remove babies from mother plant and put them in soil?
Nope, let them grow to be bigger before you remove them
Let them grow t enough size before separate them
Ok thank you ☺️
