- Old video from December 2021 fishing offshore of Block Island on the Island Current.. fishing was decent for mid december so long as you could hold bottom with the constant rocking of the boat. I was very happy to catch several quality fish, although none were big enough to take the pool.

I rode from N Jersey to this boat with my boy one February. Cod fishing… first time I ever gotten boat sick. The waters were insane Lmaoo everyone threw up and some passed out 😂. I got back on my horse and filled that cooler. Great time, great Capt, great boat. 💯 need to go back

That was a tough day to be out there for sure. You did the right thing putting your roller skates on and running all around the boat to find the bites. You did well,.. probably high hook I’m guessing. I toughed it out on the bow all day, which I’m sure was a mistake with that heave on. But I did find that that one right bite. Though I do believe that my fish was a minuscule amount heavier than Masimo Boots, I agreed to split that pool with him. But next time,.. no more Mr. Nice guy 😂😂

not a single shop that sells them in RI so Id say you are correct. Lucas and I catch our own in the local waters.
That boat looks like one I went out on December 23 1990. Almost all the other anglers were seasick. And then my nuts friend, Pete, swallowed one of the half rotten bait clams - and got quite a few death threats when people were done hurling. We were so drunk. Good times,,

How do you not get sea sick out there ??
just have to spend a lot of time on the ocean and you get used to it. If you know you get seasick, take dramamine the night before and again an hour before you leave the dock. But most importantly just avoid foul weather days. Only 20 guys on this trip, should have been more like 30-40, participation drops out late season as the weather tends to be like this.

@@Exploremorefishingthere's a motion sickness kinda watch thing you wear on your wrist and it interrupts the signal of getting sick to your brain by sending small shocks like a tens unit for like loosening muscles I got one for my mom it works for sure my buddy told me about it his sister got one changed her life she can fly again and go on boats rides etc.
