The sudan is being cut right for fast regrowth, but a lower cut will make it have more stems come out of the rootball but slower growing. Great video, and the alfalfa looks good enough to have for a salad! I'm too far away to smell it...😢
Thanks for your video and I dont mean to detract from your excellent videos, but this person puts out impressive videos of combining on the Palouse area. His videos are worth looking at on TH-cam. The latest video is titled, - Steep hills and harvesters sliding on soft ground
Ok, my question is how many times can you flood irrigate after each cutting if you're on a 28/34 day between cuttings? You may have said it before but I may have missed it. Thanks for posting
Love the farm's dedication! Great to see how you balance traditional hay farming with modern updates like truck parts and Sudan grass.
It still boggles my mind that the grass/alfalfa can be cut so nice at such a high speed.
I'd imagine that you have lots of bee's around with all the beautiful alfalfa blossoms or not?
♥ Love the smell of fresh cut alfalfa.
Another great video. Thanks for the extra time you take to film and edit 😊
Weird I’ve always been to worried about nitrate poisoning in Sudan grass to feed it to cattle.
