Hi Ms Debbie :) I had an Aunty who used to make lovely Jamaican food like you, her kitchen was so similar to yours as well. She helped raise me and my little brother. Unfortunately she passed away during this pandemic, and I never got to say goodbye. Watching your videos makes me smile because it reminds me so much of her. Thank you for putting these wonderful videos on TH-cam, I really hope you are blessed and enjoying life where you are. I hope I can cook like you and my Aunty one day. :) xx

Bulgar porridge is my favorite above all porridges. I have tried every bulgar on the market in the USA and none compares to that in the old days. The bulgar in the US is refined which takes away the flavor and texture.
You took me down memory lane. When the government use to give free lunch and they would prepare it just like rice. I never ate at school., but my favorite was leading up to summer and Christmas holidays our teacher would continually remind us to bring paper bags for milk powder, bulgar, flour. It's from there my mother would make my bulgar porridge. Those were the days.
