- Hearthstone Battlegrounds is a complicated game and to be the best, knowing the best comps and cards is not good enough. The most important things are usually come in a simple form, such as when to level, when to sell economy cards or what to focus on. In this video, I will cover the building blocks on what it takes to climb MMR. This is probably one of the most useful guide videos I will give so make sure to watch until the end!

The ten tips with time stamps:
0:33 #1 Don’t roll if you don’t have to (especially first 5 turns)
1:48 #2 Don’t buy trash (especially on turn 4)
3:08 #3 Pick a turn to stabilize (try to stay above 15/30 hp)
5:50 #4 Commit to a direction only once you have the enablers
6:55 #5 Concentrate stats instead of spreading them out
8:03 #6 Prioritize time (don’t spend too long thinking about decisions that don’t really matter)
9:15 #7 Go all in at the right time (selling brann etc. for scam)
10:50 #8 Plan what your final board will be early on (and hold final board cards in advance)
12:07 #9 Focus on what you can control, not what you can’t control (think about your game plan during the fight)

I'd love a more indepth video for midgame specifically. I very often get confused when trying to stabilize, not knowing what direction to choose and unless I get lucky in the earlygame or just happen to have some early scaling units, I often get in trouble on tavern 3 and 4.

It’s not a simple thing unfortunately i try to think how much damage will I take leveling?
For example going to tier 3 for 5g on the 6g turn at the moment I’m okay with taking 5 damage, I am sad taking 7 damage and if I take 8+ damage then I’ve made a really bad choice.
However there are sooo many it depends even with that example.
I think the hardest part of battlegrounds is choosing the right time to commit. Sometimes you commit too early and the build doesnt work at all cuz you dont have the key units and you miss out on other core units where you can commit on. Midgame is definetly the hardest part of battlegrounds. A guide on midgame transition/decision or a video of you explaining your thought process of a whole game would be very insightful

Tip number 10 is what Shadybunny's youtube also does really well. He has tons of videos where he didnt highroll but played well to win.

I like to watch jeef’s vods and pause at the beginning of each turn and roll and think by myself. Watching people streaming is fun but you don’t get the time to think and debate the decisions.

Most important advice for climbing? Buy perks to unlock two extra hero slots so you stop conceding every time you don’t get offered a good hero.

I personally noticed that a majority of the games I get completely hosed end up that way because I've not managed to find anything I can use to scale at all by the time I reach the early midgame. I've still not figured out at all what to actually do when I can't find anything to scale my early game board with to not just get waltzed over by a bunch of 30/30s when my biggest unit is like 10/10
buy big/tempo units early and if none available, LEVEL UP

my problem isn't the first or mid rolls, its the ending turns. I can got undefeated 8-10 turns with a decent board and then boom, 2-3 turns later I am dead

thanks for the video man. one more thing about how probabiltiy works, our luck will always even out, if we are lucky once we will be unlucky another combat or shop. in the early game when I have a 90 % chance to win but lose and take 5 damage, I am happpy because I know later on I will get lucky when I need it more

This game is so bad only 80 seconds a turn. How can Apm eles and pitates compete with 1000 stat demons mechs and murlocs
Assuming you're serious, the turn timer isn't the issue. It's board animations and fight animations that's taking too much time.
@@W4TH3JE5U5Turn timer is a huge issue imo. Relying so heavily on it means things like Internet connection and device lag play a big role in your comp which is pretty ridiculous. Cutting animations only extends the turn timer, ideally it shouldn't exist in its current state at all.
