There’s nothing worse than someone you love being sick. Sending Loki good vibes. Hang in there ❤. I’ve been through similar awful situations with my own animals and it’s so scary.
I totally understand the frustration with not having pet insurance. My sharkie got off leash a few years ago and ran into the woods and got bit by a tick and I didn't notice. She got really sick. After multiple trips to the vet they couldn't find the problem and I was thinking about putting her down when I started playing with her ear I seen a big tick inside and I called for the Dr it's was a tik that's was killing her. After they took it out and gave her medicine a few hrs later she was fine running around. Almost 7k on my amex not understanding how charge cards worked. Took my about a year to pay it off and also had to sell my car to clear it up
Hope Loki gets better soon. Here is an idea to support 2 causes. All spenders : Skip spending on msf for a while and instead donate to the gofundme for Loki
So glad you posted this Boilon. Nothing embarrassing or bad at all. You’re supporting your boy and giving us a chance to do the same. Thank you for posting and you and Loki are in our thoughts.
You've helped us brother, let some of us return the favour! Hope Loki comes through. I got caught with a 3700 vet bill about 10 years ago when my cat was injured by a racoon. It was tough and at the time I couldn't afford the treatment. Friends held a fundraiser for me and we managed to scrape the fees together. Forever grateful and hoping to pass along some of that help to you! Stay positive Boilon!
Never commented before, but hope Loki gets well soon. Just had an expensive vet bill myself. Nothing more important than family especially the furry ones
Please, don't be embarrassed. As if saying that will make you feel it less, but it's worth a shot. I lost my little guy to cancer late last year and with no exaggeration, it hurts just as much today as the first day. Hopefully, we can help spare you that pain and give you plenty more years together. And not to make light of it, but every dollar towards helping Loki get better is a dollar that Scopely doesn't get for their shenanigans, which might give us all a little smile.
These types of things are always scary. My dog, also Loki, found a bottle of ibuprofen a friend visiting our newborn baby left on the table when he was just a puppy. He spent three days in the hospital and will never have full liver function but he's been stealing pizza crust for another 8 years so far. Its scary, its expensive but we do what we have to do for your family. Good luck to you and Loki!
Boilon, please don't apologize for making this video or for asking for help. These type of things happen to us, pet owners. So please, don't blame yourself. I hope you can receive a lot of help from all of us, and that Loki gets a quick and easy recovery. He'll get better, and please remember to also take care of yourself while you take care of him.
I'm sorry, man. I hope Loki comes out of everything ok. It's scary, frustrating and expensive. Accidents happen, don't beat yourself up. It's ok to ask for help, to need help and make mistakes, even in situations like this. As both a kid parent and a pet parent, it's a when situation, not if, and there's so much you don't have control over. As a side not, I've got a cat named Loki and two dogs named Thor and Freya. You did good.
Dogs will eat grass to make them selves throwup. I have no idea if its innate or learned behavior. I have had several that i have seen do this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and loki. ❤
Boilon, so sorry to hear about Loki. I've made a small donation (what I was going to transfer to *my* dog's account today, which is for her shots, vet visits, grooming, etc). Please do not beat yourself up over not having pet insurance or over not having anticipated a large pet medical expense. My previous dog incurred a lot of expenses on 2 different occasions, once after an unprovoked attack that almost killed him, once after ingesting rat poison, and still made it to over 13. Be aware that pet insurance does not necessarily cover everything and that you could pay moderate to hefty premiums and still end up with a huge vet bill for something the plan doesn't cover. My solution is to put aside money every payday, transfer it out when necessary, and hope it covers all or most expenses. So far, it's working out well (my dog is also 4 this year). If you want to do something similar, you might want to put away whatever the premium cost is for the most suitable plan and see how it works out. Please keep updating the Go Fund Me (I don't use Discord) and I look forward to hearing good news about Loki's recovery!
sent you something just now. I hope everything goes well. Can't really put too much burden on yourself over this. I have a cocker spaniel that started having allergy problems around 2 years old and felt guilty for some reason. Victoria is a beautiful place btw. I used to drive up from nevada every summer to visit friends that went to uvic. i even ferried my car there once lol. anyways i'll be rooting for the little guy!
I'm sorry about Loki and ill keep in my prayers tonigh ! Stay strong and hang in there you are perfectly fine talking about all this dont listen to the haters !
Contributed $10, wish I could afford more 😭❤️ Loki is such a sweet boy and we love you Greg.. sending all the love and healing light in my heart and hoping Loki is good as new!
As a pet owner myself, cockatiels, I understand how unbearable it would be to see your pet in pain since they are your family. I pray for the best for you and Loki. I did what i could and sent a little bit to help out.
I had a similar situation a couple months back with my baby chopper who decided to swallow a whole rock and had to go to the vet to try to get it through. I know how it feels my guy and it’s very scary to see ur baby in pain but it’ll all be good just trust them vets they do really love the pups
As far as I know from his Discord, Loki has something obstructing his GI system somewhere. They'll put a scope into him and hope they can remove it that way, otherwise they'll have to go into his stomach. That's the latest update I saw.

Brother Boilon, Loki is in our prayers. I had a huge surgery for my rescue. They are a part of the family. You do you and we got you.
I'm in no financial state to help, but know that my heart goes out to you both. Hang in there, he's lucky to have an owner like you.

Done. My daughter works at a vet office. Vet care is crazy expensive. You and Loki are in my thoughts.
