Believe it or not, I work on Walmart remodels and found this same machine in the clearance isle for 162.00. To say the least, I took it. This is our 1st machine of this caliber so I'm hoping to have a good experience with it...
Did you ever get the pressure up? Have had mine for a couple months now and still can't get any pressure. I kinda wonder if the gauge is broken. Tried fresh coffee(As fresh as I can find here in Wis), and I've tried finer grind, still the gauge doesn't move. I just spent a ton of money and ordered a bottomless portafilter, a WDT tool, a Calibrated tamper, and a distributor hoping that will help. Should be here in a few days. I do think the amount of grind that comes out of this attached grinder is inconsistent though. Most of the time, a double grind wont fit in the portafilter. I mean it fits but after I tamper it, it will not connect in the brew head of the machine because it's too tight like there's too much grind in the filter. I only do double shots so I think I'm going to have to start measuring my beans. Even with all these issues, my caramel macchiatos taste just as good if not better than any barista has made for me. So if I can just get this thing dialed in, my espresso is going to me amazing! Love this machine!
@@jaym1244 This is not my first espresso machine, I’m supposed to do a video in Spanish for my TH-cam channel, but I can’t get this pressure to work. I wrote the company and they mentioned the fresh coffee beans. I did that at different grinding numbers and nothing, this gauge is not moving.
@@AlVazquez Ya, I have to wonder if it's a defect because mine has never moved either. I'll get these tools today and see. I descaled it last night so hoping to see some pressure changes. If not, I'll be returning it or at least contacting the manufacturer for a replacement. So where do you get "fresh" coffee beans if not from the grocery store? Starbucks? Dutch Brothers? So, in order for this thing to have pressure, we have to get our coffee directly from Juan Valdez?

I appreciate the time and effort you put into this review. You have one of the better presentations that I have seen. There will always be espresso snobs that won't have a good thing to say about any machine under $1000. I have a chance to buy this machine, barely used, for an asking price of $100. I'll take your advice and go see it. Thank you again, Greg
Thanks! As you drink more, you get more and more snobby. With proper usage and experience, this machine produces very good shots. Get the beans with a roast date within 1 month and that will produce excellent coffee.
In this video, I used the coarsest setting for espresso of 15. The setting depends on the types of beans you use and the roast level. So you really have to dial it in on a per type of bean basis.
I've tried several times and the pressure doesn't get high. If I use the double wall of course the pressure climbs. But using the single wall the pressure doesn't even get into the red. Help
The machine has an automatic steam-release valve. If you start the steam, then turn it back to the neutral position while you grab your milk, you'll find that the steam is released about 20 seconds after the neutral position has been chosen. You can still get *some* steam but it will run out and require you to run the steam pre-heat again. How quickly it runs out in this scenario depends how soon after the steam-release kicked in that you turned the dial back to steam. This is not a bug, it's important that the machine not hold pressurized steam forever. The best way to handle this is to get your milk ready, THEN turn on the steam prep. Once it's producing steam, switch back to neutral and then get the milk in place right away and select steam again.
I started with this machine it doesn’t grind coffee coffee fine enough to truly dial in a really good espresso. Your acting like20 dials is a good thing. The more setting la on a grinder the better for dialing in coffee. You had to of been paid for this video. My experience wasn’t like this at all. This machine does not grind coffee that is under medium roast. I’m sorry. But it really is a poor man’s machine. That’s not a bad thing. But it won’t make coffee that is anywhere near as good as a barista express or pro. And those are really beginner budget espresso machines.
You absolutely need a scale. What are you talking about. You know nothing about making espresso. The first thing you should buy before the machine is a scale. Espresso is just like baking. If you want good espresso you need to know the exact weight in to the exact weight out in the proper amount of time. You are giving really bad ideas to people. They’re going to make crappy coffee because of you and think they’re doing it right. Shame on you.
True. I have a scale and measured the output. It gets it in the ball park, it's not exact but it makes a reasonable cup. The trick in this machine is to do the proper timing manually.

Thank you for this video. I just ordered one.
I got mine from the clearance aisle at Walmart for $150. Best money I’ve ever spent.
Thanks for the review!! I have been waiting for one that really shows how good the machine is! Getting mine next week!!

This machine looks amazing! I am going to get one asap! 😍
Certainly very good results for the money.
Awesome review! Just bought mine and it is the best purchase I have done this year! 😊
I cant get the expresso pressure to go up on the red level. I have fresh beens, Lavasa, I tried different grind settings and is not going up.
Keep grinding smaller until it does.

Great vid. Gonna look into purchasing this..
It's a good machine. Just got mine last month and very impressed with what it can do at such a low price point.

I am considering this machine to replace my Delonghi Stilosa EC260BK espresso machine. I hope it pulls shots better than my current machine.
I didn’t even know I can pull out the grinder. Thank you. Also the front faces the side. Weird. Not right. lol.
I descale mines but the shots don't drip and taste the same I barely see the golden cream if the coffee more so dark and dead shot
Does this machine pre-infuse?
No it doesn't.
What size of grind do you recommended?
In this video, I used the coarsest setting for espresso of 15. The setting depends on the types of beans you use and the roast level. So you really have to dial it in on a per type of bean basis.
Have you used light roast beans yet? If so, what grind setting for a double shot. TY excellent video!
You can adjust water amount by using menu
How did you get the water to run for 25 seconds long. The machine only goes for about 12 seconds from the factory. What is the over ride?
Under extracted. You need to make the grinds finer. Try other troubleshooting methods in the manual if that doesn't work.
This might be a dumb question but can you add an aftermarket bottomless porta filter to it later if you wanted?
Of course. You only need to find a compatible portafilter.
I bought one of these with your affiliate link. Thanks for the heads up, hermano.
Thanks! Enjoy you machine!
How to regulate pressure
You cannot do this directly in the machine but rather you do this with changing the grind size. The finer, the more pressure you can exert.
I've tried several times and the pressure doesn't get high. If I use the double wall of course the pressure climbs. But using the single wall the pressure doesn't even get into the red. Help
Double wall is only for pre-ground. Use single wall and grind finer.
The steaming works not well, sometimes automatically stopping, I can’t understand where the problem is, I have enough water inside
It takes time to start up. It might be the switch not contacting. Turn it firmly in the on position and move it back and forth a few times.

How do you get the pressure gauge to work? Just bought mine and it’s not working.
Nothing needs to be done, it works. Perhaps you're not getting a good seal in the portafilter? Or it might be broken.
please make a video teaching how to use the menu, thanks.
Could you post a link where I could get the thermometer you’re using? Thanks for a great video!
Sure. Here: amzn.to/48t9XwQ (affiliate link) Yes, I bought two. Ha ha. Also added the link in the video description.
Thanks!!

You want the pressure higher? Make the grind size finer
I agree. When brewing it was pretty much at the top edge of the espresso range on the dial.
sooo my boss gave me something that looks like this and i have not used it at all lol. hmmmm i will have to try it :) thanks for sharing
Its a great expresso machine. I purchased one at walmart for around 250. Must get whole beans at sprouts or fresh market. well built quality
Try finding beans that has a roast date of less than 1 month, it's AMAZING!
I love it ❤❤❤
Pressure depends on the grind size of coffee
Yes it does. =D
I just got mine from Walmart 299.
I wonder if he checked the pepper for any fly poop today?
What? Who does that? Pepper? I don't think I used pepper in this video.

I had a Breville Barista Express and this one makes a better espresso. But that's just my opinion. The grinder is better in this than the Breville.
Pos , returned to WM
Why? For this price range, it's really good better than a Breville and I've used both.
in Spanish Ultima cosa means last thing XD
I would think it's the first thing you should drink.
