bronze - plat is such a weird time. it is so inconsistent until you get to diamond. i was bouncing between gold/ plat for a long time and even plat/ diamond until i got over that hump and now it’s pretty consistent
Im currently diamond 2-3 and usually in the first minute, nobody dies cause the healing is insane, so sometimes we are just at a stalemate until the ults start coming in.
KDA and whether or not you get MVP also matter for points, me and my buddy were in plat limbo for about a week, but with some good games we managed to break thru to diamond. On average, even in diamond, i win or lose about 20-25. Also, a tip for moon knight since i haven't seen you do it in a vid yet. If you grapple the floor directly underneath you as moon knight, you can get max height if you ever get dove to just glide away or pop invis team-up.
The whole issue with losing-winning back and forth is just trying to create consistancy. People can know all the quirks and such over their characters but also not be super consistant, that just comes with playing more.
I can confirm that you gain way less when you play with ranks far below yours. Its meant to combat boosting without hurting the casual base (always hard to balance) I play with my bronze friends and the highest elo i get no matter what is like 25. If i solo i get 35+ unless i play really poorly.
i feel you, plus these weird games where you get stomped and then stomp the enemies back feel so inconsistent, to the point when easy games stopped bringing fun after win
You gotta stop crutching the ankhs so hard varisty, if you place one down in front of a tank lile hulk with a massive hitbox you should be shooting the tank to deal as much damage as possible rather than the ankh

Yeah plus the first minute is always playing cover and positioning.

I’ve been really enjoying these videos outside of R6. Hope you keep up with them.

The win streak consistency is also a struggle when every other lobby is smurfs/grandmasters
Varsity tip u do more damage if u aim for headshots while an they r in range of the onx

Yeah the next day we played with gold's and immediately was gaining 24-29 each win instead. No more playing with bad friends 🙃
@@varsityvariety im sure they don't wanna play with you either.
Ranked 2.0 vs Ranked in rivals?
Never lock your team comp roles to 2-2-2, sometimes having 3 tanks 1 dps and 2 supps can steam roll with how fat your team is
I got to diamond 1 demoted to diamond 2 and I guess I'm done with rank. Rank sucked all the fun out of the game for me.

the matchmaking is awful. and the solo queue is a horrible experience
