So my question is....if I went and “camped “, like in my Suburban and just car camped, would I be considered a camper, or tent camping (without a tent)? I wouldn’t need the hookups that an RV would use. Just want to have use of the restroom......
I travel and sleep in my van but carry a small instant pop up tent with me. That way I can stay in the tent area. I don’t announce that I am sleeping in my van.
Full hookup sites were $36 per night and tent sites were $14 when I stayed in April of 2021. Updated pricing will come up as you're booking.
We were in campsite 30 last fall. Loved it! Going back hopefully again this fall. Safe travels Laura!
It was so peaceful there. I would happily stay again next time I go back!
This is so great of you to share. Hope to be there in September.
You’ll have a great time! I remember just wanting to know what everything looked like before I went. Happy it was helpful!
great job on the video!
Thanks!!
That's a hook for a lantern, just fyi. Thanks so much for the tour!
Thanks!! I was hoping some would pull in an answer.
Arkansas truly is the Natural State.
It's full of surprises that's for sure!
If I parked my motorhome in a campsite, would it be very far to walk to the diamond search area?
It’s not too far. Might have an issue more dragging all of your stuff over with you. A wagon is a big plus if you have one!
@ Thanks! Good idea to bring a wagon!

Well the official answer would likely be to get a full site, but I can't say anyone would notice and I admit the thought crossed my mind too 😅

@@joycenuckels2773 great plan!
Do you remember if there was decent cell service in the campground?
I think it was spotty but if you move around the camp site you’ll be able to find it! They also have free wifi at the visitor center
@@LauraOnTheMove Thank you so much for replying!
