    I hate the dreaded subframe swoop up on the CB650. Super job on how to get rid of it.

    Dude, what a beauty. I have the same problem with my subframe too, can't put flat out brat style seat because of that upsweep, thank you for the idea

    nice ...and good talk ...1 thing though the rake looks pretty high for a sports setup u know still has some cruiser left in it ..i dn know how to quote that ..but it is looking great 😬

    I am working on a bobber conversion. Even though you know you gotta do it, putting the cutting wheel to the frame.... just go for it and hope it is correct.

    I own 2 81’ CB650C and am Loving these videos. Wish I had these references in the beginning of my Café build. Curious whether you will be showing any engine refreshing…mostly top end…rings, valve stem seals, cam chain tensioner and how to adjust everything and put back to specs? Got yourself a subscribe and like for everything in the series so far!👍🏻

    How did you cap the gap, where you made the cuts on the frame to change the angle of the seat?

    You do great work and I enjoy watching your videos but it would be great if you could speak up a little bit or get a lapel mic. I have to crank the volume up to 80 but when I’m watching other TH-cam videos I have it like 40. But I do thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    It's so unfair that you can machine practically any part inhouse. Trying to find the right person who can do a professional job or make a part here in Germany is a nightmare.

      That really came to be on the last Bmw build. It didn’t dawn on me how lucky I was until half way though the build.

    Hi, I'm from Argentina. I am building a cb650. Your video helped me a lot. Have you finished this project?

    Why not just drop the front fork?

    • @CognitoMotoTV
      @CognitoMotoTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a few reasons we did not lower the front forks. First, lowering the forks reduces the rake angle, which we want to avoid. Second, the owner is over 6 feet tall, so lowering the forks would make the riding position less comfortable for him. Finally, there is a limit to how much we can lower the CBR forks due to the clamping area.

    I find that squaring the tubes can be done with small hose clamp.I am actually a boat builder but I do have a 75 XS650B laying around. Sure you guys will be hearing from me. I am not really that far away from you guys. (Outerbanks NC). If I stopped by could I get a tour? Been following since your XS build.
