Thnk u so much brother...... I didn't aware of this repeater thing..... Before seeing ur video I thought to install extended antenna..... After I seen ur video I thought to buy repeater that time I just searching the option on my NVR for connect repeater ... That time only I noticed one camera is not connected on NVR ....that camera was connected with another camera......which means we can use as repeater which camera is closer to NVR .... So now I connected accordingly .......thank u so much for ur information brother
For those of you still interested in having 4 cameras connected to the repeater. Delete all cameras (Max 4) that you want to connect to the repeater from the NVR. Press the reset button on all including the repeater. Go to match code on the nvr. The DHCP will automatically kick in on the repeater whilst scanning. The channels will be allocated using 192.168.1.xxx IPs as opposed to 172.20.14.xxx IPs. After this if you check in the repeater settings you will see all 4 connected. These NVR's are hard work I know 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you so much , life saver ! On my instructions it only shows how to add them individually connecting each cam to the NVR by cable, but the two cams I have connection issues with are not easy accessible , with your help I connected them both to the extender, unfortunately even then one kept having issues, so as you said each cam is a repeater in itself I used another cam nearer than the router and nvr as it’s own extender and now it’s all running perfectly and will be getting some extra cameras without having to worry about range.
Hi Aiman! Do you know where I can find help on the repeater? When I plug it in with the ethernet cable, the NVR does not recognize it. It doesn't show up on the "Video Manage" screen, and I tried pressing the reset button for different time lengths, I got a voice to say "Matching codes" a couple of times, I pressed match code on the screen and nothing; other times I got "Reset to factory settings" and got nothing different afterward. Any link or idea to test will be very appreciated, thanks!
Great video. Iv'e tried changing antennas to boost the signal but it wasn't a great success. this may be the answer to my ipc problems. I do have 1 question.....can i connect a repeater to another repeater to extend the range even more?
I would like to add a different camera like the Bunker Hill security how can I put this camera on this system it should be incompatible since it is a wireless camera
Thank you so much for sharing all of this information. I did try going into the repeater menu before purchasing a repeater and discovered that I could use existing cameras to help as a repeater. I realize it may pull down the signal strength from the closer one. I was able to improve my furthest camera signal strength from 18 to 33 by doing this.
Do you know how to set up the repeater that you can have another camera repeating off another camera that is run off the repeater. example camera 1 and camera 2 are getting signals off a repeater. i want to use camera 1 as a repeater to go further to give camera 3 a signal
How do you connect the cameras that have poor signals to the repeater if you can only connect cameras with signals seen by the NVR? I have two cameras that have intermittent connections, but they are too far away to maintain enough of a connection to be recognized by the NVR.
Hi I was wondering if you can give me advice on my revo wireless unit I live in upstate ny .but I am on vacation in my homeland p.r. I have wifi internet from my brother house but I cant get connection to my home Thank you signed jesus camacho
This is the same software as my techage . anyway I bought a wifi extender but I cant get the NVR to recognize it do you know what could be the problem? The ethernet cable lights blink on the NVR but not on the extender side shouldnt it also be blinking?
Very informative. With a Hiseeu wireless system, do you know if I can use a regular wifi extender/repeater (by regular I mean the ones they have to boost range of my home wifi router) or does it have to be Hiseeu? Can I connect 2 or 3 of the extenders at the same time?
buena informacion, utilice otra marca de repetidor wifi, y en el telefono se ven las camaras, pero en el NVR muestra "error de contraseña", sabes cual es la contraseña?
I have 4 of these on my system, one of them has 3 cameras connected. They can each support 4 cameras. A cheaper way to do the power supply is to use a splitter and tap it from the camera power supply.
Dear I Have some issues with the repiter do you know how to resolve, my problem is every 10 minutes the camera that I connect to the repeter cut the video or lost the connection

Thanks for your videos. I purchased the Hiseeu system with 8 cameras, when I turn it on my display shows "HD DVR" not "NVR" like yours. also the menu is slightly different. I'm trying to set up the Repeater mode but I don't have the (Refresh) option on my screen. Do I need some kind of software up-date or do you think they sent me an out dated system ? Thanks for your help :)
only one way u can connect 4 cameras to the repeater first 2 cameras u connect to separately to each camera and after the camera what u using for repeater that u connect to the actual repeater
Hi my name is Temidayo am a Nigerian. You got lovely n helpful videos n I hope to see more of same. I need ur guide with my wireless cctv setup. I bought a wireless 8 channel Nvr using 8 wireless ip cams with no physical LAN ports to plug in any cable, is got just power port for 12v dc. The set-up was pretty direct until when 2 cameras were out of d wireless Nvr Wi-Fi signal range. Plus the Nvr doesn't ve a repeater feature under video settings. To resolve this I want 2 use my Tp-link TL-MR3240 router as d Nvr's reporter but this is were I've gotten stuck n do need ur help with. The routers ip addy is 192.168.0.1, Nvr basic ip: 192.168.0.90 Gway: 192.168.0.1 Pri. Dns: 192.168.0.1 Nvr ntwrk ip: 172.20.19.3 Gway: 172.20.19.1 All ip cams ip are: 172.20.19.xxx So how do I connect the router so as to extend the Nvr to the 2 ip cams presently out of range n also boost signal to any around it too.
thank you very much. that was a great help. i noticed my smonet software is the exact as yours. so, i wonder who the first company that developed this system before the patent was stolen. lol
Hi, I’m deaf . I want cctv WiFi extender but I not clever . Can u help me ? Can send picture me ? Please help me. My router far can’t , near box dvr near WiFi extender use can?
could u help please when i connect ipc and get to the bit it says wireless has not been connected mine comes up update failed and when u refresh it just keeps coming update failed, please help driving me mad. When it does connect then i select the camera and save it does wipes off. many thanks
good video, thanks. My setup is in a large warehouse using the same system you have in the video (8 wireless cameras), we were getting low signals to most cameras and after installing 2 extenders we are still having issues. Can a wireless camera be connected to CAT5/6 Ethernet cable and run as a wired camera? Typically the network port on the camera is used for configuring. My thought is to have a network switch that the NVR connects to, to provide its network access, then connect a cable from that switch to the camera. Will the NVR "see" the camera and use the wired connection? My other question is, we have an existing wireless network in the building that provides much better coverage than the NVR, can the NVR and cameras use that wireless network instead of using the NVR signal?
I think WiFi Camera system will not work with wired facility using Cat5/Cat6 &.switch etc as you mentioned especially because the supplied NVR is not designed for that sort of configuration. You will have to employ signal boosting devices and the best and cheap will be if used the Antenna with wire.
Ok I thought this might be a helpful video but I was more confused after just watching 1/2 of the video. I think your smart enough to do the job but you need to edit your video better. After clicking on several items you had a bunch of failures or ppp up messages that you couldnt explain and never tell someone to buy a cheaper product when the one you got wasnt worth the money you paid for it. Also say to buy a knoen good brand and do research on it to find out how good a product it is. This should of been a 3 min video but you lost me after the first 2. Re-edit this and skip all the issues and go as if everything worked the first time. Then at the end you can explain what to do if an issue or failure pops up. But on the right track so dont give up!
Completely useless video. You never discussed the range increase that was achieved. You never tested the distance. You don't explain whether that thing can be outdoor or indoor. You also don't talk about whether it needs its own wifi account with a provider.

I have a same problem
You’re the man!!!!! Helped me.
Video is rad. He explains the install process really well.
Im confused. Why can't you add the red ones to a repeater? Is nt the whole point to connect the ones with a bad connection?
Thank you so much for sharing all of this information. I did try going into the repeater menu before purchasing a repeater and discovered that I could use existing cameras to help as a repeater. I realize it may pull down the signal strength from the closer one. I was able to improve my furthest camera signal strength from 18 to 33 by doing this.
Update, after about 20 minutes, both signals went down. Looks like I'm buying a repeater.
Thank you, I installed the IPC wifi repeater using this blog!
Did you ever make that video about how to convert a wired camera to a wireless one?
Thanks, i have some cameras not showing record video on ip pro but does show on base unit. Any ideas?
Nice video perfect all works
But you maybe know also posibile to use 2 ipc router on the system?
Do you know how to set up the repeater that you can have another camera repeating off another camera that is run off the repeater. example camera 1 and camera 2 are getting signals off a repeater. i want to use camera 1 as a repeater to go further to give camera 3 a signal
Since this isn't made for outdoor use is there a way to use a outdoor wifi repeater to do the same thing ?
It's too bad that we can't replace the stock antenna's on the nvr itself as well. Or can you?
Did you try using that repeater wired so it can accommodate 4 wireless camera?
Is there any way to view my footage on a non smart TV?. I assumed I could watch my surveillance using a firestick and Alexa….no luck
I liked your explanation, but I would like to know how to update this Nvr, I couldn't update my nvr
is there a way to change the internal IP address on the NVR they start with 172.20 but i wanna change it to 192.168
Sir is the ipc universal? Works with imou nvr?
Can this be done with a CPE in repeater mode?
mantap la man
How do you connect the cameras that have poor signals to the repeater if you can only connect cameras with signals seen by the NVR? I have two cameras that have intermittent connections, but they are too far away to maintain enough of a connection to be recognized by the NVR.
Can I use any router repeater like tenda 4in1 router/wisp/repeater/ap
Pls email me tnx
Thank u very much bro
Will work with imou NVR?

Question,

Did you get it fixed?
can you extend the camara with no wifi
EyeOnAiman what I’ve done is to extend mine is buy an sma cable and just screw the antenna in to the end of the cable
only one way u can connect 4 cameras to the repeater first 2 cameras u connect to separately to each camera and after the camera what u using for repeater that u connect to the actual repeater
thanks for the info. But you are focusing more on ur face than the camera manager.
Can’t seem to get my system to record when motion is detected.
I have issues with my ipc router, there is error update fail, setup fail. Can you suggest me to resolve this issue, how to update device firmware
I need help with my menu system if you can

Please do no mock Swahili. It's a beautiful language and even made it to the Lion King. Ever heard of "akuna matata"?
