Definitely. You know now that I think about it, why didn’t Mildred adopt Lewis herself? Don’t get me wrong I loved how Lewis’s life turn out. Wonderful parents and a real family. That was a great ending. Still I would like to know why Mildred didn’t adopt Lewis.
@@sergioandrescontreras5251I think Mildred might have been worried that it would jeopardize her relationship with the other children in her care by adopting from orphanage. Not to mention, she was already an adult and running the orphanage when Lewis came to her almost 12 years ago. It’s entirely possible that she already had children of her own who were already young adults. That or maybe she just felt more comfortable acting as a safe haven, a *temporary* caretaker for these kids instead of being a parent, and that would be completely fine. I just wish we knew what happened to her and the orphanage after Lewis left.
ikr? If I was adopting a kid , and I see a 10yr old making pretty creative and somewhat functional inventions I'm adopting em. Literally a future billionaire
After his invention failed, Lewis sorrowfully retreated to the roof. Mildred gave him time, before coming out to check on him. Lewis: “I KILLED HIM?!?” Mildred says: “No, no, no. You didn’t kill him. I called. He’s perfectly fine.” Lewis is starting to give up hope of being adopted or having a future. He feels no one wants him, not even his own mother. When he asked why she gave him up, Mildred softly reassured him that she did love him, but maybe she was unable to take care of him & was only thinking about what was best for him. Lewis was quiet. After a moment, he admits “I never thought of it that way.” Mildred insisted “Maybe she wanted to keep you, but she had no choice.”
They really could've told Lewis that Mr. Harrington was allergic to peanuts/peanut butter when it was first mentioned honestly. I know Lewis was excited about his invention but I'm sure he could've grabbed another one right away if he was told about the allergy
Maybe she wanted to keep you but she had no choice. Remember all you people out there who are and were orphans there are people who wanted to have their kids but had no choice but to give you up. Stuff like be given a better life or safe from harms way. Example: In Futurama leela seemed more normal like than other mutants so her parents gave her to be given a better life on the fresh surface than to rot in the high pollution of the sewers
Absolutely! They truly love their kids and they want to keep them, but they're poor, they can't afford to keep their kid, so they have no choice. They want to make sure what was best for their kids, they want to make sure they have a hot meal to eat, and a warm bed to sleep in, and a safe place to stay. ;)👍💖❤💖❤
Me too hate it as well really don’t like the girls rejecting me and don’t care about me for who, I am too but let’s hope, I find the right girlfriend eventually all the way.
The only mistake that she possibly made was to not tell Lewis to put down the dispenser after it was plugged up to avoid any repercussions with the allergy. At least that’s what I would’ve told him in that moment.
Mildred was definitely a motherly figure to Lewis ever since she's raised him like a son and took care of him ever since he was a baby.

“Poor mr. Harrington”
“I KILLED HIM?!” Lol
Oh gods no!
@Olivija Strandjord Imagine if Wilbur overheard this.
@Olivija Strandjord Why not?
@Olivija Strandjord Wilbur using the time machine to see how his had in the past is doing and he witness lewis and Mildred's conversation.
“No, no, no! No. You didn’t kill him. I called. He’s perfectly fine.”
2:43 - "I have no future."
😢Right there with you, Lewis, right there with you. 😭
No one wants me.
@reecegonzales17 Mildred: “That’s not true, Lewis!”
Lewis reminds me of my friend Jaedon. They both wear glasses, both are funny and both are very smart.
This movie is so underrated. Also, this is the most underrated Disney movie in my opinion.
How about Charlotte’s Web, the animated one, it’s very sad.😢😭
Why mr. Herington and most of parents didn’t acknowledged….. Luice is genius…

Like Matilda. Miss Honey recognized her brilliance, but not her own parents or Miss Truchbull.

I love this scene and this movie

Maybe he was self conscious about it, I knew a guy who refused to tell people because it made him get unwanted attention
Lewis sounds almost like Aang, doesn't he?
Nah. Aang’s voice is slightly less mature. But I can see where your seeing it.
It is Aang. There were two actors for Lewis. One of them voiced Aang on Avatar The Last Airbender.
Lauren Brown the other is Jordan fry but I can’t tell a difference someone should make a video about the differences of the two
More like Mike Teavee from Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Yeah, Jordan Fry voices both Lewis and Mike Teavee.
