Some speculation: Nothing here is confirmed. Since Xenologue characters become available in the main campaign after completing the Xenologue, Mauvier is likely the odd man out in his unchanged nature, since he's normally recruitable. Zestia, Gregory and Madeline are distinct from the mainline versions, and adding them to your party wouldn't really conflict with other existing characters. Given ouch country is at war with each other, I'd say it's likely each map will be a matchup of one country vs. another, plus a finale against some greater evil. I think 7 chapters is likely. Firine vs. Brodia, Firine vs. Elusia, Firine vs. Solm, Brodia vs. Elusia, Brodia vs. Solm, Elusia vs. Solm, Finale. I think this seems thematically sensible, and an appropriate size for the game's most substantial piece of DLC. The count of 7 also matches up with the number of DLC Emblems. Edelgard, Tiki, Hector, Camilla, Soren, Chrom, Veronica. I'd speculate one is featured each chapter. Most likely, Tiki on the first chapter (we've seen her featured, and she's the first in the divine paralogues) and Veronica in the Finale (a multidimensional being seems appropriate here.) The nature of starting everybody at fixed levels, classes and inventories is a fine way to emphasize the strategy/tactics aspect of Fire Emblem rather than character building and economics. The lack of flexibility I think will make the Xenologue feel more like the early game than the late game in that you need to really know the unique properties of each character to succeed instead of build whatever you want. Also, since levels and loadouts appear largely fixed, I wouldn't be surprised if we're allowed to choose the order of levels as we approach them. I wouldn't rule out choosing sides either, but I think this is more of a stretch. Of course, this conflicts with my "Tiki first" idea from before. You can't have both theories be right. But it's all just speculation. One, or neither may be.
That is really smart what they are doing with this DLC. I honestly thought that you would have to beat the entire main game first in order to play the DLC story as most video games have done this before, but I am glad that they are giving you the DLC story during the middle of the game after Chapter 6. It definitely gives those players an opportunity to really try out the DLC as soon as possible without having to spend a lot of time completing the game. Definitely a great idea from Intelligent Systems. It is going to be real exciting to see where this DLC story goes while also recruiting Nil and Nel along the way and I cannot wait to see what happens. 👍
Although it might be kinda weird to fight AU Elusia/Solm when you haven’t even met the characters yet in the main story? Especially for ppl doing their first run…unless some of the later chapters are locked by your progress in the main game
When I read that Zephia's class has growth rates, I thought there'd be a brand new melusine character in the 4th DLC. But alternate Zephia is very nice too. Good to finally have a flier who can use swords and magic. The others aren't quite as interesting to me since they're just standard classes, but at least those who liked them can get them
If it's gonna be like Cindered Shadows and not a sequel story, I hope I don't have to stop midway through the game to complete the xenologue for the characters and rewards every time I start a new file.
Considering the fact that we have prebuilt units without much abillity to reclass them like in cindered shadow. Im thinking its gonna be the same deal and we just get a chance to recruit the dragon buddies and the four winds after chapter 6 or something once we complete the dlc
Yeah that would be very annoying if we have to constantly do the Xenologue on each playthrough to unlock those characters as well as the classes It should hopefully be a one time deal.
I honestly don’t mind doing the Xenologues again as long as my Alear and chosen team get to keep their levels and inventory and that only the DLC characters are preset.
Im looking forward to the flavor text between the party and their alternate counter parts. Im also excited about using the new units. Really interested to see the personal abilities and stat growths as well. Also messing around with the new classes. I heard its an item so hopefully we get multiples of them
I love that the DLC is incorporated into the main story, as i never felt like replaying Cindered Shadows in Three Houses after i beat it once... But with no NG+ and all the DLC tied to story progression, you only get the things you play each time! I can't wait to do all the DLC emblems AND the xenologue before even going to Brodia...
well, i would still recommend to do chapter 8 before doing the divine paralogues, as Alcryst will help immensly on Tikis and Camillas map and really likes the lvl ups there...
FE never really had any ng+ outside 3H (which has different staff vs engage), so the devs probably don't intended to add one. This is why postgame exist
Was really hoping they'd reprise cool classes like Bride, Dread Fighter, Trickster, etc. Really disappointed with the DLC classes' uniform appearances looking like a maid merchant and a naked tank, but maybe their playstyle will be fun to make up for it.
*Potential Spoiler* I REALLY hope Nil isn't the final boss and doesn't perish in the last map. I was really looking forward to using him in the main game as I love his design and dragon units in general. Nil wasn't datamined as playable but a mysterious, unrevealed character called "Rafale" was. I'm hoping that's secretly his true name that will be revealed after we defeat him (and bring him back to the light lol)
Potential Spoilers: The datamined attacks for the final boss seem to use "Il" in the name, which is Nil's Japanese name. He apparently also has an enemy only axe animation in the 5th xenologue chapter. I'm hoping Rafale is some purified or alternate version Nil so we can still have him somehow.
Something I'm somewhat curious about is whether Nel and Nil, when reclassed into a tome class, will be able to use Obscurite; unlike Misericorde it doesn't specify Veyle only, just Fell Dragon only and we do see Sombron using it too. Even if they both have terrible Mag and you'd never want to make them into mages, I still think it would be a nice touch if they can.
I think mauvier is the same Alternate Hounds (the Four Winds) are similar to the originals, just with a slightly altered design and a slightly different name. Which would probably mean that Mauvier is the same
I have an feeling that Mauvier of the Xenologue changes side for some reason instead of Nil, While i certainly can understand your point i do however think that its Mauvier from the Xenologue that becomes evil since the Mauvier of the main game is playable and it would be weird to have 2 of the same characters on the same team or he might sacrifice himself to save the others i am not sure but its not impossible
I wonder what Nel and Nil and the Four Wind's personal skills will be. We already have the personal skill icons for Nel, Nil, and Zelestia, now we just need Gregory and Madeline.
I wanna know why Zephia decided to have a name change lol. Like Marni I kinda get bc of time paradoxes and that shit, alternate timeline and all that. But why Zephia?? Something must happen to Sombron and thats y she leaves him but like y the name change lol
@@ChaoticSgt The simple answer is that, in this timeline, Zelestia has always been her name. As in that was the name her parents gave her. In the main story, her parents named her Zephia. In Fell Xenologue, they named her Zelestia. Simple.

I'm so hyped for this. I love the alternate reality concept and the ability to play with the Four Winds characters. The new classes are very intriguing and I can't wait to try them out. I'm having so much fun with this game still.
I’m training my units on my normal run in preparation for the DLC. I doubt it will mean anything considering Fix leveling and all, but I do want to use as many characters going into the DLC as possible.
The levels fixed could only apply to the DLC characters since it seems you can’t use them outside the Xenologues until you’ve beaten them so it makes sense that their levels and inventory would be fixed.
Good to know I'll be able to play Fell Xenologue as soon as it comes out despite being still relatively early in the game, looking forward to this Wave even more now!
I like the theory that Mauvier will betray you this time, flipping his storyline from Engage. If Nil is the final boss, and he's super loyal to Nil instead of Veyle (who we haven't seen anything for DLC related yet), then Mauvier could turn against you to protect Nil rather than turn against the enemy to protect Veyle.
This is going to be exciting. DLC wise in recent games, I loved the before fates dlc for that game due to the stakes the characters were up against. This seems to have that same energy lol
Actually I feel like Celine changed the least in this AU, funnily enough. 😂 She says similar things in her current supports and even refers to herself as a monster, ready to do anything it takes to protect Firene. The one I was most surprised about was Alt Alcryst, I really thought he'd still think of himself as Diamant's protector but instead we see him putting him down. 😮 I can't wait until we get the DLC!
I think that Vayle will be the final boss and Mauvier will be the one who betrays us. I think that for these reasons, first we didn´t saw Vayle at all and I guess her dark personality will be the normal one in this world. Also the kingdoms use dark emblems therefor a fell dragon has to support them. 2nd Mauvier having no changes is really sus and since we will be able to use the other hounds in the main game after finishing the DLC story there will be a reason why the other Mauvier won´t Join us because otherwise we would have 2 mauviers in the main game playable XD 3rd Mauvier is Loyal to Vayle, in the main game it is a good thing, this time it mind end up to be bad for us. I believe Mauvier will be the one killing Diamand in the scene we hear after the trailer.
Real talk: I'm not the biggest fan of Cindered Shadows gameplay choices ("don't forget about us, wave three reinforcements!"); so hopefully the maps aren't a slog to get through. Story looks interesting; though, having done practically everything in the game. . . I dunno what I'd be doing with the new characters when I do unlock them! Here's hoping for a NG+ update lol
The appeal of the new characters for the main game would be the new classes and builds that result, plus all the new support and bond conversations. Hopefully some special battle conversations too.
I mean if they’re maps that throw wave after wave of reinforcements then at least allow my Alear and team keep their levels and inventory to they can protect the preset fixed DLC characters, not like in CS.

I have been hyped for dlc 4 since it was announced when I play games the story is 70% of what I look forward to and when it was announced that the final dlc was story I was ready for it
I'm kind of disappointed with the 4 winds only because I was looking forward to having Griss on my team. Gregory doesn't seem like as much of a masochist
@@BenFM I just had a random prediction. Since in the base story Mauvier joins you and the rest of the hounds don't. the 5 new characters gets added, possibly more that we don't know about, since.... Mauvier is already playable in the base game so you will not get him from the DLC story

What does Enchanter do, other than having the Convoy dealie? I've seen a video of Mage Cannoneer; imagine the Ballistician but magical, and with a ton of different shots. @.@
@BenFM Yea I’m still having a Good feeling it’s really likeliest hope and Recapture as Reverse/ Reset 🔁 the Normal ENGAGE Characters as Evil Transformation to their self “Fighting against” Alear In Fell Xenologue Story ❤️⚔️💙 and I’m definitely 100% legitimate it’s possible we’re going to see Nel as the Finale Boss just like you predicted we’ve could be both incorrect here but I’m still thinking it’s Nil which is Nel’s Young brother I’m having a Good feeling like the New *Cast of Allies* what’ve we saw the Official video trailer to Wave 4 will it’ll probably give our Last True answer once comes til April 5th, 2023 that’s what I suggested this will be happened.
I really hope we can unlock both characters so that way one of them can transform into a dragon and we’ll finally have the manakete class I think that’s what it’s called the one that tiki transforms into a dragon also I wonder if they’ll be special dialogue between Sombron and Nel and Nil in the final chapter
Maybe it’s just the DLC characters only as it looks like you can’t use them in the main story until you’ve beaten the Xenologues but can still gain support and bond levels that will carry over.
Since Veyle and Past Alear arent present in Fell Xenologue, Nel and Nil might have significant similarities to the former siblings, albeit more Past Alear&Veyle instead of Current Alear and Veyle.
It's a stretch and pure hope and speculation on my part but, I'd really like to see the Zero Emblem have some kind of tie to this alternate world. It's so weird that a plot point like that was just exposition vomited out at the last minute in the last chapter and we know nothing about it other than it also came from another world.
I find it hilarious that Engage has four waves of DLC and Warriors Three Hopes not having any DLC despite coming out almost a year ago. And once again, where is Emblem Alm?! Did he get screwed over again?!
Madeline probably will be rather adverse to praise and very mature literally the inverse of marni, Gregory is adverse to pain and inflicting it the reverse of griss, zelestia will be caring and loving and probably overprotective of her loved ones the reverse of zephia, mauvier will betray the winds and die :)
Is this going to happen after the main story or before it because I can't see how their will be royals interaction when ivy is not available until ch.11
What kind of "restrictions?" Will my Alear and my endgame team still retain their levels, stats, weapons, inherited skills, and classes from the main game? Or is it gonna be like Cindered Shadows where you're stuck with what the game gives you?
I just read that allies will appear with fixed levels and inventory, but then again, it could only be referring to the new DLC characters which perfectly fine with that since you seemingly unlock them after completing the Xenologues.
A world without the Divine Dragons and Sombron, Now that makes it easier to understand why the characters are different. Slight spoilers on read more Zelestia making her own family without thoughts of Sombron in mind Gregory not being a huge masochist to please Sombron and instead more towards Zelestia as a mother figure Madeline probably had the same back story when meeting Zelestia she became nicer because Zelestia wasn't thinking about Sombron as much. And Mauvier still being a by the book knight. Since he wasn't really devouted to Sombron compared to the others.
No Divine dragon = Firene not being as peaceful since they are closest to the divine dragon Which results in Brodia being surrounded by two possibly aggressive nations (Since Brodia invades Elusia. Firene might go attack them) Diamant wanting peace results in him being seen as weak, Alcryst always had a dominant actions guy especially when you first see him, But because of the way he lived that side become his more prominent half
Wait we only get two new classes?? Nah that’s a letdown Also yall gotta stop spoiling with leaks in these comments, some of us want to go into this dlc story as blind as possible. Even if the storyline is a little predictable, just shut up
The English dub isn't as good as SoV or 3H for sure, but some of the Voice acting is really good. Yunaka, Diamant and Alcryst (Especially during chapter 10), and Fogado. It is probably the worst dub for sure though.

The nature of starting everybody at fixed levels, classes and inventories is a fine way to emphasize the strategy/tactics aspect of Fire Emblem rather than character building and economics. Okay, hear me out:
Lucina on Mage Cannoneer.
o_o
Do we know if we’ll be able to bring the 4 Winds into the main game along with the new siblings? Really hoping for the Zelestia S-Bond.
Yes (90% sure)
@@BenFM here’s hoping, Zephia is my favorite in terms of design, would love to S-Bond her even if it’s an alternate reality version.
Zephia is Alear and Veyle's sister.
Cittrene gunna be a beast on the Mage Cannon class I think 💥
Evil Yunaka embraced her assassin life.
Zappy! I stabbed that fool real deep. Divine Dragon? Can't wait to stab them and lick their blood from my blade! Dieya Papaya!
I'm guessing that Maviur (however he's spelt) will also betray you or die at some point. It'd be weird to have 2 copies of him
Oooooh he'll betray us for veyle
Guessing you won't be able to level up and gain stats. Kinda like what Three Houses did for the one DLC
Maybe it’s just the DLC characters only as it looks like you can’t use them in the main story until you’ve beaten the Xenologues but can still gain support and bond levels that will carry over.
@@davidleung5297 hopefully. All this level grinding I've been doing better not be for nothing
@@AnosVoldigoad31 It'd be a real damn shame if I can't use my Emblem Chrom engraved Wille Glanz +5
@@davidleung5297 lets hope we can use our characters and emblems
Imo, i am thinking this fell xenologue story will be better than the original story.
I am loving this dlc it just using zelestia and gregory is just amazing. I pop off when I saw them playable
Wait, the DLC campaign is going to be a lot harder than the main campaign?
(Insert Cindered Shadows PTSD)
I'm just going to think nil is alternate sommie somehow
Lol I hope the automated Characters have level scaling cause when I tell you I only use like the same 14 cause the others weren't worth my time.
I really hope the guy with the white heir get’s to turn into a fell dragon at the end
Since Veyle and Past Alear arent present in Fell Xenologue, Nel and Nil might have significant similarities to the former siblings, albeit more Past Alear&Veyle instead of Current Alear and Veyle.
do we know what the free update for wave 4 will add?
I haven’t seen that yet but I will make a video or post about it when I do. Will keep an eye out
Anyone know the song used at the start of the video
The whole song is falling petals
This is what happens to Céline when somebody steals her Tea Convey.
Any news on veyle's role in the story if she is even in it since she was equally as important to the main game like Alear
No official news
@@BenFM I hope she is and that they are saving it for the actual drop
Evil Alfred: "Wait, where's your Alfred?"
Good Celine: "He rushed Nelucce and lost his spleen. He's permabenched now."
Evil Celine: "SAD!"
Excuse me?
It's a stretch and pure hope and speculation on my part but,
I'd really like to see the Zero Emblem have some kind of tie to this alternate world. It's so weird that a plot point like that was just exposition vomited out at the last minute in the last chapter and we know nothing about it other than it also came from another world.
i hope Nil doesn't betray the party i really love his design and i would love to have him as a unit in my playthrough i would hate to kill him off.
I find it hilarious that Engage has four waves of DLC and Warriors Three Hopes not having any DLC despite coming out almost a year ago. And once again, where is Emblem Alm?! Did he get screwed over again?!
He got screwed by Celica.
Mauvier (from Alear’s world) vs alternate Mauvier.
Is this going to happen after the main story or before it because I can't see how their will be royals interaction when ivy is not available until ch.11
Alternate world
What kind of "restrictions?" Will my Alear and my endgame team still retain their levels, stats, weapons, inherited skills, and classes from the main game? Or is it gonna be like Cindered Shadows where you're stuck with what the game gives you?
I just read that allies will appear with fixed levels and inventory, but then again, it could only be referring to the new DLC characters which perfectly fine with that since you seemingly unlock them after completing the Xenologues.
Do you have to complete the fell paralogue every time to get the new characters or can you do it one time?
I'm not sure yet but I'd hope once
A world without the Divine Dragons and Sombron, Now that makes it easier to understand why the characters are different.
Slight spoilers on read more
Zelestia making her own family without thoughts of Sombron in mind
Gregory not being a huge masochist to please Sombron and instead more towards Zelestia as a mother figure
Madeline probably had the same back story when meeting Zelestia she became nicer because Zelestia wasn't thinking about Sombron as much.
And Mauvier still being a by the book knight. Since he wasn't really devouted to Sombron compared to the others.
No Divine dragon = Firene not being as peaceful since they are closest to the divine dragon
Which results in Brodia being surrounded by two possibly aggressive nations (Since Brodia invades Elusia. Firene might go attack them)
Diamant wanting peace results in him being seen as weak,
Alcryst always had a dominant actions guy especially when you first see him, But because of the way he lived that side become his more prominent half
Only two new classes? only two totally new characters? that's why so early...
I mean we never got us the 4 hounds so its 6 technically
Edit- Forgot about mauvier lol its 5
Is there a S Support For the new chars
No idea sorry I'd say probably yes from what I've seen
So this is alternate universe?
Pretty much
Ruthless Celine: I need more coffee.
Ye know, AltLyos is a good setting for an RTS. Same with Fodlan.
True
Wait we only get two new classes?? Nah that’s a letdown
Also yall gotta stop spoiling with leaks in these comments, some of us want to go into this dlc story as blind as possible. Even if the storyline is a little predictable, just shut up
Doubt the game will give us two Mauviers so the alt one is probably going to be evil and betray or something
I feel sry for people playing this game in the ridiculously bad english dub
The English dub isn't as good as SoV or 3H for sure, but some of the Voice acting is really good. Yunaka, Diamant and Alcryst (Especially during chapter 10), and Fogado. It is probably the worst dub for sure though.
This is totally unrelated but.. I'd hate to have lysithea as a wife in real life she is to hateful and snobby
