Hey Charlie, always love the videos. My two cents though - I would personally remove the automated captions on the video - TH-cam's captions are decent enough for the people who need them, but the ones you've added during editing kind of get in the way and ruin the immersion, and sometimes (because AI is trying to scan and comprehend the speech) it comes out wrong.
Nah weeds not to blame here, I smoke an ounce a week 🪴 and I'm a great labourer (other people's words 😂) this guy jus needs more practice on the mixer ✌️🏴
Great van I’d love to win that. Only issue is it’s got all those horrible Brickies tools with it. What’s a plumber like me going to do with those? What the hells a spirit level? 😂😂😂
rubish, flemish bond is 3/4 bond, set your pier out with queen closure and if you need to break the bond its fine to add an extra header in the middle of the wall but dont let it wander !
Tyler was like "oh the mucks a bit wet - does that mean put some more water in it so it aint so waterish" hahahahaha Great episode - not sure about the A.I subtitles with the editing
Sand was probably already abit damp, have to be careful with the ton bags aswell as they get wetter towards the bottom,I found that out the hard way 😂 lovely wall 👍🏻
Common sense would have him put the mixer on the end of the sand so he’s tipping facing the skip rather than pebble dashing the back of the nice black van. My boss would go mad if we so much as got a drop on his van
When I looked for them I found Rhino build profile outriggers/stabilizers look that up but I've also seen him clamp 2x4s to the profile then to a block on the ground wich might be easier than using scaffold boards but it would definitely be nice to have those legs
Keep the perps and beds at 10mm all the way. Its structural and symmetrical. Looks way better. 8mm not enough muck for the expansion contraction / adhesive quality between bricks. I hate when not enough muck squeeze out or a brick is moved a few mm over instead of being re laid. That brick is literally loose in the wall. You need that squeeze grab adhesion on every brick or its not laid its just placed. Very big difference. Try knock one out the next day thats been laid vs laid then moved after so it looses the suction adhesion. That brick will just knock out the wall easy. A massive weak spot 100 needs the compression into the muck and a 10mm bed to be properly done. I know how I sound as well. lol
@@hod2116 you need more to allow for expansion contraction. its the suction of sticking the brick when you lay it aswell. code is on point for good reason always
Sand looks dry and it was covered . Never shovel from the bottom of the pile if it’s been raining over night all the water percolates to the bottom of the pile . Looks like the lad is just over dozing with water .

charlies made some serious cheddar with his channel and his building well played
A difficulty in life is that if one doesn't know something then one doesn't know ; the sand is wet.
When it comes to brick laying your the goat😮
Gotta remind the labors to use less water when the sand is wet

Good Charlie
What is the size of the trowel? 9? 10?
Lads putting to much water in and he’s probably shovelling the sand from the bottom where it’s wet . Top of the pile of sand looks dry enough
What’s the mortar mix mate
How come you haven’t been promoting the new fitzbrick profiles Charlie . All the other fitzbrick gadgets have been introduced to us by you .
They fell out, so derby brickwork show them off now
It's the teacher. You get wet sand and wet sand.
Be rude not to leave a set of profiles in that van of yours that’s on the raffle ❤😂😂😂😂😂
Phil from Philly got everyone using the coke trowel

Structurally it makes it stronger with smaller beds and perps as the muck should be weaker than the bricks
