Putting this comment here for new players Depending on what controller you use, the controls mentioned in the video will be different. For example, on the Oculus Rift S (and I would assume Quest/Quest 2 as well) to lock an item into your hand is double tapping the trigger, not the thumbstick. And the radial menu is the top button, not the bottom one. Hope this helps for anyone using those headsets.

I got this game last night and during the tutorial phase, this little boy helped me a lot, which was nice, but he literally did all the crafting for me. Can I start over for zero so I can actually play? Lol
I play alone because I don't want to play with children so I'm hoping this will help. Honestly its difficult alone because everything requires a lot of materials to make and the manual labour to actually get it all is actually excessive. I struggle to play with others because I'm bad at meeting new people :(
I'm kinda the same way, I don't really like working with others but in games like this I'm willing to tag along with those that are similar to me in how we think. Maybe we can play sometime

Yes, you still have all of your stuff. The servers reset every couple of weeks, but that is only the things within the community - not on you or your personal storage.
Wow dude, soooo...........here's what you do - when you got to the Alta Launcher, HOLD "Shift" key while clicking the launch button and keep holding until a window pops up. That is your display graphic settings window. Go ahead and crank everything allllll the way down and see how that works for ya. It won't affect what you see in the headset.
One thing I still don't get is do you choose one of the roles on the Wiki or are those just different things you could act as? Can I use a bow and be a Ranger yet still blacksmith tools?
Absolutely, you can train however you choose and aren't bound to them, but act as them or equip the skills necessary for them. You can learn and advance in every skill and choose what "skill orbs" to equip at the skill shrine. At any time you can re-arrange these to fit what play style you're feeling :)

The only thing about the oculus quest launch is that it's version of the game will be before the climbing tower, the combat trials and the forest.

I have never really had this issue and tend to stay on a server I believe to be friendly, otherwise there is not much joy in playing.
Of course there are griefers....private server it is!

They are just shards. They are sort of like bone shards, you can use them to decorate or add to many things.
