I think the reason why AJ1s are less popular now is because dunk lows have replaced them for the general public. Think about it, low top sneakers are easier to rock in most outfits than high tops, and to most people the dunk low basically just looks like a low version of the jordan 1. Plus they're cheaper than jordan 1s

I think it really depends on your location, like obviously nobody is rocking them in the warmer states. Imo, classic shoes like Timbs never go out of style, they're like AF1s. If you're looking for an everyday casual boot, the Timbs are definitely the way to go. My main daily's are White AF1s for the Summertime & wheat Timbs for the wintertime.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, it was the best time to buy them, Nordstrom was selling them for only $120, I wish I had stocked up during that time. Lol

The 550s fell off b/c they have a weird fit. If you go true to size you get the heel slippage issue. If you go down a 1/2 size the forefoot area is too tight b/c it’s a narrow shoe. If they fixed the sizing issue, they wouldn’t have fallen off this quickly.
Y'all just need to shut tf up when it comes to New Balance because you guys can only see it for its hype and there's a bigger subculture that rock New Balance that actually have style and arent influenced by all these social media influencers to tell them how to dress.
