I commented the Elsa reaction you just posted today a few hours ago. So I mentioned that song, and that Elsa was my first musical crush. In 1986, I was 4 and my father was on the roads all the week for his work. And there was that song. I didn't even understood it was about a divorce (didn't even know the concept of divorce). But it talked about a child missing her father, and that, I was totally in sync with. So I played that song over and over on my big brother's hi-fi system, with the headset on, lying on the couch. crying over my absent father (actually, a year later, we moved and he took a sedentary job, so I could have spent much more time with him). It's still one of my all time favorite songs, and actually, I had a nice moment, like a couple years ago, with a total stranger, thanks to that song, cause I was just walking the streets for pleasure and enjoy the sun, with a portable amp. That song played, and he just called out to me, smiling, and told me he haven't heard it for years, if not decades.
Oh, my !! The beautiful Elsa... I had a crush on her and I still have She is 2 years younger than me and is still a very beautiful woman. I think that we were a lot of young men in love with her. She looked so cute, so sweet and her voice was pure. Aaahhh sweet memories...
"T'en va pas" is a song by Elsa Lunghini, her first single, . It is part of the soundtrack of the film "La Femme de ma vie", by Régis Wargnier, released in theaters in 1986.The song became a hit for the singer, reaching number one in the Top 50.
She was 13 when she recorded that song. One of the hit of 1986. At the time there was also Vanessa Paradis (Yeah Johnny Depp ex-wife) who recorded her first hit. The two were figthing for the charts called TOP 50. I was team Elsa and like other young teens (11) i was "in love" with her. It did not help that we were in the same middle school (collège), me in 1st year and her in 3rd! 🤣
Triste chanson, émouvante, dans laquelle beaucoup doivent se reconnaitre. J'avais 6 ans quand elle est sortie. Je m'en rappelle comme si c'était il y a 38 ans
I remember this song because I was a kid when it come out, and there was "war" between kids about who is better : Elsa or Vanessa (Paradis). (I was team Elsa, by the way) Because both were singer our age (or close) they mattered more to us than big celebrities singers.
If you want, there is an English version : "Papa, Please Don'T Go" (a clip exists, she was younger than the second version of this clip) for Europe in 1987 but no success. The French version was a hit at the time (1,3M copies), no.1 for 8 consecutive weeks at the Top 50. There is a rare first version (available on TH-cam), but bad quality. From time to time certain TV channels broadcast it. It was a Soundtrack at the time, a film in which she had a role. She even debuted in a film at the age of 8, I think. Now she is 54. In The 80's, she was a Lolita like Vanessa Paradis "Joe Le Taxi" (1987), the mother of Lily-Rose Depp and ex of Johnny Depp.
And what about this one, coming from far away in the french culture of la chanson coquine, tout l'esprit français à ses racines : Il estoit une fillette by Clément Janequin, circa 1485/ +1558
Thx , yes you pronounced "adults" (parents) correctly. The musical and sung melody made this song a huge success in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and also in Italy. The composer is Italian, we can also hear in the orchestration the little Italian "thing".The Spanish version was not a great success.
You mean rather the English version for Europe: Papa Please Don'T Go. No success! The Spanish versions are only for Jour De Neige (Solo Era Un Sueno: big hit in Peru and Chile) and Jamais Nous (Dos Bichos Raros) released 1 year and 2 years later in 1990 as well as the Italian version for Jour De Neige ( Gli Anni Miei) available on her 1997 compilation.
@@ambrenuance462 Yes, perhaps, but it seemed to me that at the time there was a Spanish version "no te vayas", which is impossible to find today. In any case, no one has ever posted it on TH-cam, in particular, to date.
