Some great info! The crazy thing is we are still in the early stages of Twitch DJ streaming, imagine the possibilities that lie ahead in the years to come!
It's a great video and it's good to know that DJs make money on Twitch. Can you also expand the topic and talk about how these DJs in particular are doing this? How they are reaching their audience? I want to know more. I enjoyed the video. Thank you Cova!
Awesome video mate! I'm currently setting my twitch channel so the algo showed me your video. I'm gonna subscribe and follow you on other social media.
Thank you Nelson, so great to meet you! We're on every Wednesdays at 1pm est/10am pst/7pm cet if you'd like to learn how to grow your stream. Let me know what your Twitch handle is so we can follow you back.
Happy at my level lol! Dope content as usual Cova! I want a video of your streaming studio (now and then). I’m growing fam, because of the information and guests that you share! We appreciate your grind! #TMT #TMTFAM
Truth be told, I didn't think that list was completely "true" (for lack of a better word) it def felt like there was info omitted. It was nice to see this broken down from a different perspective.
Thank You for all of these informative videos you continue to put out. I’m constantly learning from these and appreciate the effort you put in to helping the next person. SALUTE
Remember though Germany has one of the highest income tax in Europe. (As much as 45 percent) If Sintica is bringing in 1 million dollars, she is most likely net only half of that. I know 500k is pretty good but she grind 12-14 hours a day, 4 to 5 times in a day. As you can see Cova, she is not bringing any content outside of twitch like Mojaxx or Cleveland Terry, she is doing a hellva stream on twitch and twitch ONLY. To say that, DJs need to do more content outside of twitch and bring those audience in is good but the Twitch grind is REAL!
I felt weird knowing what other people were making, but hey we're only 2 years in on twitch and things look pretty dope. Doubt I'll ever make a crazy amount of money, but this is fantastic side money.
Yes, you CAN make money streaming. Is it likely? No. Not without a metric shit ton of work. Or, you already have a huge following elsewhere. Ultimately, if you stick with it, it is possible. But, if Twitch doesn't make a deal with the music industry, life DJ'ing on their platform won't last. Even though Mixcloud has its issues, I'm heavily considering moving over there.
@Cova, here's my issue. I've been on Twitch learning to stream as long as Chad has. Unfortunately I live in a spot where no company no matter how much money you offer them will run me a hardline. So in the beginning it was off of hotspots and cell phone hotspots which turns out to be very unstable for streaming. I put out so many horrible streams and sometimes my machine crashed or my curse was I had a secondary audio feed somehow somewhere fed into the stream on a delay or with an echo...sometimes both. It got to the point that I had to stop putting these erroneous streams out making me sound like trash. That break lasted for 3 months and sum as I built a new machine and tried to batter my connection in anyway possible. I came back on the attack with a better working knowledge of OBS and Twitch Studio, but since my connection was still ultimately wireless, I was held back and still am slave to the prioritization of a cell network's traffic. Like right now on Sat @1340, I'm getting 2.3Mbps downstream and 19Mbps upstream which is decent since it is the upstream I care about now that I know. But as you can tell by the difference in the numbers, there's an issue causing instability either in my network possibility, but I think and been told it's in the towers and this problem isn't slated to be upgraded until May or July. It' so frustrating. Beyond that I'm good to go. I do things differently than most others in that I normally am in the mix like literally mixing at least 2 tracks together to form one new sound. I've even beat copyright claims citing this. Thx for the clip, I hope ppl dont get all upside down with you about it. And since we are here and you prob know, but this is WikkiDDannyD (Wik-KiD Da-Knee-Dee) Wikki is a term from the group Nucleus in the early 80s when I began to learn to mix and cut. My EDM side has been Kidd Wikked in 1993, then WIKKID in 1995 till today. And Danny D is my on-air persona on terrestrial radio & online with a network of transmitters here in Central Florida. So thats part of my story and how I came to be on Twitch spinning. My girl and I love TMT and cant always catch the show, but I remember catching you that one evening trying out that DAC you were about to give away. Gotta Jet TTYS
@@arkimwilliamson4429 Absolutely! Any device that is attached to the internet and has access to Twitch(depending on your country) can access the live streams or any VOD that a creator posts.

I would love to however the labels don't want Djs to play there anymore. What do you do to work around it? @tweakmusictips
There's now a DJ program on Twitch. Twitch struck a deal with the labels. The official start date is August 1st. We'll be doing a video on this.
I put mixes on my TH-cam, got about 2 views 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 same with my SoundCloud.
That’s some great info! Thanks for breaking it down.
