    Quick and easy, but still has some of that WOW factor. Keep 'em coming.

      Nice one! I'm actually a little bit addicted to making these now and very keen to experiment with a few more woods!

    Another great project Dan! Having low priced / entry level products is a great way to get return clients or that first time client. I make earrings from my pen cut offs and sell them for $15 / pair (about £8) and they're my best sellers at most of my markets. There's a few women that "have to buy another pair" every time they see me!

      Haha that's amazing! Yes I can imagine that items like earrings would do very well at fairs. Like you said a great way to attract clients who will hopefully become repeat buyers!

      That sounds good I really enjoy your videos. I'm trying to make some wedding rings with guitar strings for me and my fiancee

    Great video, thank you for posting it! I am making wooden rings just as a hobby, for my girlfriend, but she is wearing them everywhere even in the shower and they lose their shine. I tried to put a coat of CA glue but it doesn't shine enough from underneath. Any suggestions?

      Hey mate not sure if you’re still into ring making but CA is waterproof if you’ve fully sealed the ring, make sure to give a few heavy coats, wetsand it down and miromesh is the secret to a beautiful polished finish! I’ve made wooden rings with CA and they have such a shiny gloss finish, also waterproof when washing hands etc

    How did you finish the necklace. Just a knot or clasp. Great work mate. Had the free ebook thanks so much no one gives away info for free. I’m self taught so your videos help. If you ever need to pick a woodturning brain I will help. Have a look at making a three point tool. I’ve made one and with the rings it’s a great addition to your tools. Thanks again

      Haha I actually filmed those bits but my knots weren’t great so I left them out (fail!). I have another pendant vid coming this week so I’ll include info in the next one!

    Awesome video dude. How did you drill it to the face plate?

    • @ZebranoWoodCraft
      @ZebranoWoodCraft  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ring Making nothing too complicated man, I literally just drilled a few screws through the back of the face plate into the wood! Crude but effective!

    Just rewatched this to make one for my wife. Realized that you could also do this with a hole saw instead of turning it on the lathe. Just FYI for folks without a lathe.
