Beneath The Remains is the perfect thrash/death metal album with Schizophrenia right behind it. Arise was the beginning of their downfall, but still a thrashterpiece!
@@tttarms1970 but we all can agree the first four sepultura albums by far are the best. Chaos AD was good, roots was okay at best. I do like some Derek green era albums like Dante, the mediator, and their latest album. They say that they want to change it up from album to album but I'm hearing basically the same thing slow dragged out songs, however their latest album is a lot more upbeat since Dante.
Max has straight up admitted he's not very proficient at guitar, but it's really nice to see him actually trying to pull off this old fast stuff he made when he was much much younger lol. He's doing a great job.
Daniel Gonzalez's solo on Mass Hypnosis is clean, very well played and close to the original recording. Excellent! Best Cavalera Conspiracy line-up so far!

They all co-wrote the songs...not just the Cavalera bros., that's why I consider Max, Igor, Andreas and Paulo Jr. as the "real" Sepultura (Max and Andreas wrote many lyrics together, all the members together wrote the music mainly).

Wow! This is good! Max's sounds like he in the 80/90s, no more breathless and tired growling voice. Igor's tempo and tone are also big, and both the bass and guitarist are also good. Hate to do New Sepultura vs Cavalera argument but I really hate Derrick Green's live voice.

Seen Sepultura at first Ozzfest in California back in 1996. Seen Soulfly many times in Hollywood Sunset strip (House of Blues) And Cavaleras Conspiracy first two album tours at same place. This line up I sounds like in a garage at friends house. This how they sounded back in the Morbid Vision days..raw. not sophisticated guitar in-between riffs and after. Just the raw music they started and I love it!!

I saw Sepultura at first Ozzfest October 30 in California. Then I saw one of Soulfly first ever shows at The Palace in Hollywood in May. Dream show came at The House of Blues on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Several more of both bands followed. How fn lucky I feel!!
