At long last, I have my 3" Turbo-Back Exhaust from 42 Draft Designs! I'm in love. Most of the talking this time was done in the video instead of in the description, so if you want the details you'll have to suffer through hearing me talk :-)
In short, it's the full 3" Turbo-Back Exhaust for the TT 225 from 42 Draft Designs, race edition (no catalytic converter).

Really sounds great mate! This video convinced me in getting the same system on my TT Quattro! Feel free 2 add some more video's, i'm curious how the sound will get deeper after a while! Cheerz and nice TT u got there ;)
It's worth every penny! The sound hasn't changed much since I got it, but I do have to say there's absolutely no drone now, which I'm very happy about. When I get a chance to do it, I'll be making a video of the car in a tunnel ;) Also going APR Stage 2 with it tomorrow!

hey buddy sounds good. are you running a ko3 or ko4 turbo from stock? also could you make another video on your intake from 42 draft design. Im inquiring about this intake because i read about there velocity stack that is part of this intake and i would like to know if you think it really made a big difference and also what do you think about the sound?
i believe i will be making the moves over from straight pipes to this exhaust, im super curious as to how it sounds tuned my car wil chuck out twenty lbs no problem

I'm looking to get the Turboback from 42DD for my 225 TT. I was on their website and saw that Polyurethane transmission mount inserts are "Highly recommended". Should I try to find some of these mounts, or should I just buy and install the exhaust?

It does but 42 draft design sells a o2 sensor spacer that tricks the ecu into thinking the cat is still there which eliminates the check engine light

@@revans4257 in CA you will not pass smog with this set up, even with the o2 sensor adapter.
I'm thinking about picking up an audi tt quattro for doing autox and just having fun. Looking for like a 2002-2005. Something nice but not terribly expensive. I am curious to know what kind of power I might see with a turbo back exhaust and a tune.
Make sure it's the 225 audi tt quattro it comes with the bigger kO4 turbo unlike the 180 version that comes with the smaller kO3 and make sure you get a 03-06 one since they were built more sturdier with revised parts and better ecu (wideband) for tuning purposes but with a full exhaust and stage 2 tune you can be from 250-270 whp...good luck love my TT =)

I always thought they had nice interiors and I'm mainly looking for a fun autox car me and my wife can both drive.
I have a 2007 solstice and my wife doesn't feel comfortable driving it. It's wide, you sit low, has alot of power and rwd. So yeah she has no interest in driving it at all.
I figure the audi tt would be more fun for here. Other wise I'm going to get a crx or honda with a turbo. They are fun cars but not really something you want to be seen in. LOL
+Dujuan Johnson BTW I actually have a list of things to buy already. OZ wheels. I was thinking 17x9 with 255/40 R17 if they will fit. The osir rear lip and I saw somewhere that someone put an A4 carbon lip on the front. Looked pretty good. But then do graphics to advertise our company. Got to make these cars make money for me to justify wasting the money on them. :P
How was the install? I’ve heard getting to the downpipe area is a challenge
What's the difference between a diverter valve and a blow off
With a diverter valve any excess air is recirculated. With a Blow off or BOV the excess air is blown into the atmosphere. Now the BOV can be bad for your motor. The computer is calculated a certain amount of fuel for the amount of air coming in. When that excess air is blown off the computer already has that set fuel but there will be less air entering in the cylinder because of the BOV, your motor than becomes running rich. Running rich can burn out your catalytic converter and your exhaust valves. This is where the diverter is better. The excess air is rerouted to the manifold and into the cylinder so than your motor is running at the correct Air to fuel ratio. Forge makes a splitter valve. So 70% of the excess air is rerouted and the other 30% is left for a blow off noise so you still get that sought after "psshh" sound while also doing less harm on your motor. Hope this kinda helped you understand the difference.

you can from the cat back, the down pipes are completely different
What other mods were on the car when you filmed this?
did you notice much of a difference when you added the 42 DD intake?

Question: I see your car's MPG rating going crazy, mine does the same thing; what is the issue and how do you fix it?
It's just on the "instant" readout. No issue there. It's calculating mileage once per second based on engine load and vehicle speed.
