Hey James I’m with you on this. For me was in a competition once, and I learn from it. What happened to me? I shot a great first target probably my best the next target. The second shot I broke a firing pin. Lesson learned they always carried an extra firing pin. I bet next time next year you’ll have an extra pop it with you. I love the stuff you do for wonderful mind and you don’t mind sharing all your little tricks so we all can learn. I really like this video because you were honest and humble about it. God bless you and may you do better next year John.
Why the short tube on top? Just curious. I have 2 long tubes on my Avenger, and it gave me more power and obviously more shots (120 adv/fill at this setting). I am at 1800 on the reg, 1/8 turn on the hammer just to keep it off the bottom and when shooting 14.3 CP I am getting 980 fps. I have an 11cc expanded plenum on it as well. I have the gen 1 version with the old reg. setup. Plan on moving the reg. down and speed down without any turns on hammer and that will get even more shots/fill with the ability to adjust hammer for heaver pellets, and or more power. I do have a stock bullpup version as well setup at 1800, 1/8 turn that gets 900fps with the CP 14.3.
I know you said that you had a bottle on your adventure 25 and then went back to the air cylinder but why do you have that big space in the middle instead of having the air cylinder next to the barrel so that you can use your barrel band on there wouldn’t it have been better to have the barrel band or is that against the rules
i did a quick swap of the main air cylinder to the bottom where i attached my 1" flashlight pic rail/ bipod clamp since I didnt use a front bag and ran my 3 ring barrel band design, without using the Avenger forearm panels there was no way to really to use a bipod because factory configuration of the air cylinders there was not enough clearance
Hey James I enjoy your videos and you are really knowledgeable about air rifles. I have a beeman cheif and it has started to loose air. Do you have any ideas on where to look for a leak. Any help would be appreciated a lot. Thanks man
I will do that and I sure do appreciate that. Those people at that contest were lucky is all I can say. You were way more different than I would have been if they bumped my table. Don’t give up, you are the best I’ve seen. Keep on shooting Man.
Hi James, please don't use other gun on the next match. Keep using the avenger because I have confident in you and the avenger. Pray before the competition and Good luck

Congrats for showing up and enjoying the experience. I shot all four days and I agree with you on the lack of RSO’s, wind conditions and videographers. The videographers were INCHES away from me during the finals and this was my first 100Y match. Had I not shot ARA for 3 years I would not have been able to block them out mentally during finals. I hope to meet you in person next year. Now we know what to practice for the next PAC, right?

First... there should have been an RSO for sure. Second... nobody should be walking around while shots are being fired. If refills are needed, they should have held up or designated a time to do it since it was a bench shoot (no rush). Third, shit happens and don't let it ruin your experience and the fun of airgunning no matter how frustrating. Brush off the stuff you can't control. Sorry about the popout value. That's a learned lesson. Wish I could have been there to get outclassed too. 😅
How about we just leave it at the fact you had a bad day. It’s all different when the pressure is on at the line compared to in your backyard. I hope it was a humbling experience and gives you that much more respect for the guys at the top. There should have been an RSO.... that's ridiculous!!! And bad hand or not... at least you put in the effort and I think that's the reason why you were interviewed by a lot of famous airgunners there.
