The last little girl couldn't even lift the knife that an adult could use with ease. The earlier shout from W was because she suddenly realized that the 'something' this group of mercenaries was escorting was that little girl. The crayon box fell to the ground, but the little girl still held onto a crayon when she left, instead of a weapon. For this group of mercenaries who participated in the assassination of Tretia and acted as peripheral support, their motives and purposes might be as random as luck. Wisadel really saw Theresa as a sort of parent figure, she's even juxtaposed with Amiya alot of times, she sees herself in Amiya. the way the white flowers symbolized their innocence and Theresa's vision contrasts all the violence in this one. the scenery, music direction the fight scenes are just all too good, 100/10 animation, they deserve some sort of international award for this. RIP to the caster Sarkaz dad, his daughter didn't deserve this, Wisadel was such a villain in that scene
It was implied that his daughter survived and went on to become a merc. It drew the parallel with when W picked up the old W's dagger and got her new name: W, took on W's mantle and became the new owner of the dagger. According to the old ways, when you pick up a fallen merc's weapons, you take their place. (...that was a lot of W's)
Stop being soft heart to enemy, daughter can grow up to find revenge and cause a lot of damage in the future, more blood spill. So it has to end her before she will cause in the future when she grew up.
@@animelife1531 "she can grow up and try to revenge her father" is not even a reason for W to kill that girl. I bet she would find it more thrilling to let her try.
Most people thinks W was gonna kill that girl off lol but I interprete her scoff at the end in 2 ways: First is, she saw herself in that girl holding the knife as W had taken a life from an early age. Second is, we all know the meaning of inheriting a dagger from the fallen; to carry on their name and legacy. But in this case, it shows us that none of the Sarkaz can escape from the cycle of hatred and violence.
I think it's left to interpretation by the viewer. I don't even think the writers of this short made a definitive answer to whether she did or didn't. Which I love because we can make arguments for either possibility. Just great writing overall with very little spoken dialogue.
According to the Sarkaz old ways, when you pick up a fallen merc's weapons, you take their place. It drew parallels with when W picked up the old W's dagger. It's why the video is called "The Daggers' Inheritors"
@@Pramit2000 I think she die, she choose to pick the dagger instead running away. Also this is W before meeting hoader and ines again so the chance for her to let it go for fun is abyssmall.

This is truly a *masterpiece* .
7 Palabras: E S E N C I A
Wisadel really saw Theresa as a sort of parent figure, she's even juxtaposed with Amiya alot of times, she sees herself in Amiya.
the way the white flowers symbolized their innocence and Theresa's vision contrasts all the violence in this one.
the scenery, music direction the fight scenes are just all too good, 100/10 animation, they deserve some sort of international award for this.
Dont know why W hunt them are they involved in theresa's dead?
@@animelife1531 "she can grow up and try to revenge her father" is not even a reason for W to kill that girl.
I bet she would find it more thrilling to let her try.
@@MudMud-ui9mfIf i understand right, W is hunting down EVERYONE involved in Theresa’s death.
This is beautifully made
Still can't believe it's been 4 years since we got her as a playabel op, now look how far she's gone as Wis'adel in the story man..
World needs to see this masterpiece
Я сижу реву, это шедевр! 😭😭😭
Imagine the Anime with this kind of quality animation ...
Ah, so that's where the explosives come from...
Most people thinks W was gonna kill that girl off lol but I interprete her scoff at the end in 2 ways:
First is, she saw herself in that girl holding the knife as W had taken a life from an early age.
Second is, we all know the meaning of inheriting a dagger from the fallen; to carry on their name and legacy. But in this case, it shows us that none of the Sarkaz can escape from the cycle of hatred and violence.
Yeah, i really doubt W kill that girl.
At most she just gonna knock her out and left her on a nearby town
Pretty cool to see her arts in action
ABSOLUTE CINEMA, i got goosebumps when the beat dropped on W
now i have an excuse to rewatch this another 10 times
even if he defeat W with that amount of rock cancer growing pulverizing his organ, his time was already up.
For the Glory of Wis'adel.
My favorite 3D Animation of our favorite mercenary girl!
If only they had the budget to make an anime with this quality... Even just movies...
they have,but they won't.
Different studio
13:55 "you take their weapon, you will use their codename"
poor child gets killed by wishladle
Friggin brings me to tears, man.
Bro i can't decide HG is music company or animation studio right now😂
PLEASE Hypergryph upload these ost's somwhere, they are really good!
I don't think she killed her given how much we know about her.
First one, but still watching 5th time in a year.
@@afgnnzw True. I believe she didn't because she didn't in Darknight Memoir too.
@@Pramit2000 I think she die, she choose to pick the dagger instead running away. Also this is W before meeting hoader and ines again so the chance for her to let it go for fun is abyssmall.
@@alektralainheart8541 Can't say this didn't cross my mind. I hope she live though
Woww the scene where W is hunting Sarkaz is Peak....
I'd love to get the ost from this for background ambience while I'm working. It's so interesting.
Oh they finally uploaded it I watched it many months ago
This is amazing!
I really love this animation.
Cause it really describe Arknights.
It shows violence, cruelty, depression, killing others, sacrifice, and even the needs to kill people in order to survive. Thats why i love this game
but honest say that, its a story about life, furture and hope.
Yostar, hypergryph, just tell us honestly: how much we need to donate to see the whole arknights anime like this?
W’s backstory 🔥🔥
Gave me goosebumps
PEAK CINEMA
"Found you"
This is how CG Anime should be made
Love this animation!
Absolute Cinema
Literally absolutely Cinema!
A 15-minute fully 3D animation by music company Hypergryph!?

Epicnights In middle of day

The soundtrack from 06:29 onwards surely gives me Kevin Penkins vibes...but I couldn't quite find the credits for this.....can anyone check and verify this?
