For me, it's kinda like a scale. If I'm super early in a game and it only tells me where to go a single time, alright, I can probably figure it out. But if I'm in late game and have access to the entire map, and it only says once, fuck that. It's like the further into the game you go, the less likely I am to be okay with being told only once.

You make this look so easy :D It really is much muscle memory, Poo. You can read those jumps because the actual jumping and timing is muscle memory, giving you time to look. Or in other words: you make this look easy because you're really that good, it's not just you saying that.

Looking at recent hacks and just thinking very few people have enough time to make a good hack and then i see this and remember that (near) vanilla hacks still have a lot going for them. IF i ever get the time, this is the type of hack I would wanna make, and it will get at least a 1/10 cos gpb would be in the credits 🤣
Making or playing? If you are getting started playing them I'd suggest "lord pickle world" , "quickie world", or "joy of kaizo with bob ross" for some well made easier kaizo hacks. They're still hard though.
