Ok can we appreciate that SEGA actually made silver and shadow have super forms instead of a golden shield for tails and knuckles in heroes?

Yes there is a limit as long as sonic will atleast have 1 ring or up he can keep his form as long as he wants

Aside from the ring issue, I think the limit is somewhere just below the level of power someone gets from using something like the Master Emerald or the phantom Ruby. Or anything else that powerful.
