- Humanity has been engaged on an eternal quest of Self-discovery: How did the creation come about? What is the purpose of this creation? Why was the human being created? How and when is the goal of human life achieved? Where are we going and what happens after death? Sincere seekers of Truth have been inquiring into these and many other questions since time immemorial.
The journey to “know thyself” is deeply personal yet universally relevant. It is a path that transcends religious doctrines, cultural back- grounds and historical periods. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Avatar of this age, has clearly shown us that the purpose of life is to realize our true nature, which is to realize we are that eternal Atma, Brahman or Divine Love.
In this Satsangh, we will explore the theme of Know Thyself, focusing on the various aspects that include why this eternal quest is important and how one should embark on it, the obstacles we face in the journey, and most importantly, how to overcome them to achieve the goal of Self-realization.

I appreciate the effort you all have put into this. However, the process of truly overcomimg maya is not as easy as thinking that your life is a movie. There are bills to be paid and countless millions are in poverty. Baba's messsage is to help others as best as you can and in doing so you will stop seeing yourself as the center of the universe.

SAIRAM. I know Swami taught Sarva Dharma- but ISLAM is a semitic religion, Abrahamic that denounces other paths. I dont think we should be encouraging it given the strife we face. More devotees are getting confused by this and moving away.
