Not only is this one of my favorite songs of all time, this is also hands down one of my favorite projects I've ever done. It's hard to believe I haven't remade MITM before now, and I think part of the reason why is because I wanted to do it as much justice as possible but never felt confident enough to try. But I think with this, I have. I really enjoyed making this, and I hope you all enjoy it just the same!!
I did actually use the unedited BNN footage for Bucharest towards the end, blending it with the remastered DVD version. Not only does it include more/better angles, it's also fully Bucharest (and not clips from Copenhagen) and it avoids copyright! I would've used more footage from Copenhagen for the ending but the audio just didn't sync up, particularly with the vocals, so I just had to stick with mostly Bucharest... which is still a great performance imo, I've never understood the hate it gets.
^^^ Along with using the live vocals from Bucharest, I also had to think outside the box for Siedah's vocals for the main song. For some reason the multitrack for MITM is incomplete and is missing her vocal takes, so I just isolated her vocals from her original demo and pitched them, and it sounds great!
