This is the clearest assembly video I have seen so far. W hat I liked was OFR showed the full assembly and did not skip any steps. Great suggestions during video to make things easier. Thanks OFR!!
Thanks so much for posting that! I had gotten most of the way fine on my own (to about 20:25 in your video), but then the pieces I had left didn't match with the instructions that I found on the Ikea website (there were no instructions in my box). Thankfully, the pieces I had left were indeed the ones that you showed in your video, so I now know how to finish the assembly.
THANK YOU! Your video is perfect and exactly what I need to put my bed back together after a move! The instructions on Ikea's product page shows a different center beam and supports on the bottom. I tried to request old instructions and was told to go to the store - hours away. I've had this bed over 10 years, it should be this hard to get an old set of instructions with the original support design.
I got the L and R letters correct from this video & the instructions. he turned so we could see where L/R were placed, and the holes were all pointing in the right direction so he had it correct.
Dear Sir, I owe you everything, your soft hands have shown me the way. we would like to sincerely thank you for the help provided by this tremendous video. Love always, forever yours, H.P.A.N. Until next time, may you have a blessed life. you're SICK !
Thanks so much, your video was very helpful. My instructions differed however, they seem to have simplified the struts at the end so the central support goes in first, otherwise every else was similar. Thanks again, good job!
Thank you for this! My full frame came with the instructions for the twin instead so this was a really big help! Update: Ran into an issue screwing in the crossbeams, my screws are absolutely not going in at all and I can't seem to figure out how you got them.
Anyone plz let me know about the bed base at 24.18, do we have to buy them separately. Because I ordered the same bed, assembled but didn't have bed bases. Thanks in advance
Suggestion: Get rid of that claw hammer and purchase a rubber mallet. More precise, and you won't miss the dowels not even once. No damage to any part of the assembly with large rubber work end.
Dude you don't need to keep that flathead to the barrel nuts while tightening the bolts. Once the bolts are threaded in, you are good to go, lose the flathead. The groove is only there to adjust the barrel nut if you push it in all wonky and cannot find the hole with the bolt, then you can realign and leave it alone.

omgosh...this video is a miracle. Thank you so much. I'm about to throw all the pieces back to Ikea. Ikea should pay you for doing their job!
Thanks so much for making this! Very clear and straight forward. I never do any type of furniture assembling but I managed to get this done.
I can’t thank you enough for this video. You saved my life. I just about threw the entire thing out the window.
I was thinking of returning it
Thank you for the close up when connecting pieces. It helped me a lot !!
I am going to order this bed now, having seen this. Great detailed way explaining this, thank you!
GREAT ! THANK YOU ! Easy enough to follow and helped me get it all together in just a few hours.

Neither ikea nor this video refers to you should be careful about L and R letters. And they are inversed.
Yeah, this caused me to completely disassemble the work I'd done and start over - unnecessarily. Grrr.
I actually called the customer service. They didn’t know what I wanted from them 🤣
Thx for the heads up, what do you mean by inversed and where are the marks?

Claw hammer is still recommended for those metal tubes, because they tore up my rubber mallet
Merci de votre aide 🎉!!!
Thx dude
How long did it take you?
It should take you around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. A drill with a Phillips bit can help speed up the assembly process
谢谢 很棒的视频 🙏
It’s 200*140?
The metal cylinders do not fit the holes - not even close. Has anyone else experienced this?
You probably put them on the wrong side, exchanging the left bar with the right bar

Please upload gursken bed frame
My metal pegs don't fit the holes I have 😭
Same. What did you do?
@@BDD-s2c you could take a drill bit to it, but I eventually had to find spare parts
mine do when i hammer them in
You have the wood backwards most likely. Flip the wood and they should go in!
