Excellent Steve! Maybe discuss tyre pressures for axle loads and road conditions to go with answering that question regarding the Gibb

i had the misfortune of needing to back up from a crusted mud crossing. early march 2020 near Thargaminga. i didn't line up the little salt bush even with a reversing camera. it stabbed the rear tyre. 12mm diameter stick straight through. pulled forward to flat and dry land. rolled forward until clear access to the hole. followed the directions on the puncher repair kit. had us rolling in 5 min. first time i had ever done a stab repair. wife thought i was a clever macgyver. maybe a video on just how easy it is to do such a repair.

Hi Chris I’m running OME springs and coils which I’m happy with. I can’t do a GVM upgrade on the 80 series unfortunately!

People need to alter their driving style and how much crap they carry
That would be a good start
Then drop their tyre pressure a bit if really rough and SLOW down!
The Gibb is NOT a Freeway to be tackeled at 110 kmh !!!
I have driven the Gibb many times over the last 30 years and never had problems In mainly stock vehicles
In all different seasons / weather
Just need to be sensible and observe outback protocols
