Supposedly my old teacher was fired for altering test scores on the final exams. From what was explained to me, he made a multiple choice test that you would fill out on a "Scan-Tron" card, so grading could be done quickly. He realized that he didn't program the scanner correctly, which meant even if you filled in the correct answer it would be marked incorrect on quite a few questions. Pressed for time he just told the students what letter to fill in on those questions so they wouldn't suffer a lower grade for his mistake. Someone must of threw a fit over it and word got back to the school board. I guess the school board was already looking for a reason to fire him because he wasn't afraid to call them out on their BS.

We had a phenomenal Algebra professor, however, when we got to the tenth grade we were given a different Geometry professor. The book he taught out of had quite a few incorrect answers to the math problems. We'd do the problems in class and for homework and the answers he'd get from working the problems out on the board wouldn't match the answers in the textbook, or the answers we'd get in our homework. Eventually, the geometry professor just let the class go and let us play Spades, or go to other designated areas in the school.
When finals came, no one had a clue what they were doing. I had extended time on my test, due to my visual impairment, and after working on it for a while, I told the teacher I had no idea what I was doing.
He completed the test for me, so that all I had to do was draw a circle around the final answers!
The following year, when we went back to the good Algebra teacher, she began what should have been the next step in algebra, after taking geometry and none of us had a clue what we were doing. She asked what on earth we'd done the year before and we said we learned to play Spades!
While our geometry teacher would have been reprimanded, he fell off the face of the earth, after that class! He didn't come back the next year and no one has any idea what happened to him.

@@lauren9004 the principal, who hired the geometry teacher, insisted the upper school has a "meeting" in the gym every Monday to plan out the weeks events.
He came in one Monday drunk (you could smell the alcohol on him) and high as a kite on something.
Our vice principal walked up to the podium, said, "Good morning..." then asked if Mr. Byrd (principal) wanted to say a few words.
She turned around and he had his legs stretched out in front of him and was hunched over to one side, drooling!
Our vice principal whipped back around to face us students and quickly dismissed us!
That same principal threw a guy in my class up against the locker 2 years later and told the guy he'd better get out of his sight now. (All the guy did was be loud in the hallway, during the lower grades end of year testing).
The guy got in his car and drove across town to his mother's office. She was a lawyer.
She agreed not to press charges of assault, if the principal resigned.

I was 15 at the time. 8 years later, I'm in a full time job doing tech support, and that teacher's name comes up on one of my support tickets. Checked his profile on our work's local network (they have pictures), and lo and behold it's him. I assigned that ticket to my coworker.

My junior year math teacher was good at teaching, I actually got a B in his class which is better than most of my previous math classes. However, he was severely depressed and he often let it get to him in class. As a depressed teenager myself, I related with him and hung out with him at lunched occasionally. I would rant about my crappy teachers and bullies, he would rant about his divorce. We introduced each other to different books and fandoms. Generally we had a good timr, but looking back he had a lot of issues. He definitely shouldn't have been talking about personal issues with the kids. I mentioned him to a former ckassmate and she told me that after the 2016 elections, he would give his students a worksheet and just sit outside and ignore the kids. When they asked him for something he just ranted about how he's a terrible teacher and apologize for his issues. At the end of the school year he gave me his personal phone number and said he wanted to meet my parents because I always talked about them. To be fair, they are great parents so I understand why he wanted to meet them. I sometimes look back at all the red flags and just wonder how I was so naïve to have missed them.

He was a creep towards my sister. I only noticed cause we look the same from behind, he was all nice calling out my sister's name, but his smile went away when he saw it was me. I got a teacher fired in high school, because he refused to comply with my state mandated disability rights. The rights weren't difficult. I'm visually impaired and was supposed to get a copy of notes spoken verbally, or written on the board, (my eyes move in a zig zag motion as I look up and down and cannot take notes quickly enough off the board to keep up in class otherwise) get extended time on assignments and tests, (I have double vision and even with an eye patch, I read very slowly) and be able to take tests, or quizzes, in a non-distracting environment.
My first class with this chemistry teacher, I tried to hand him my list of requirements from the state, and 3 documents verifying my visual impairment and its cause, from three different doctors. (I had cancer in the form of a germ cell tumor, in my brain and spinal cord, that created an inoperable benign cyst on my left optic nerve, which makes me visually impaired). The teacher waved me off, without taking the documents.
He began writing on a SmartBoard and looked at me. He asked why I wasn't taking notes. I explained to him that in the documents I tried to hand him, I'm supposed to get a copy of the notes, due to my visual impairment. He laughed and asked me what I was talking about. I handed him the 4 letters again. He glimpsed over the one with my requirements, snorted, and said, "You've gotta be kidding me," and handed me the letters back. I assured him I wasn't.
When the class ended, I walked over to him, to get a copy of the notes off the board, and he acted as if I wasn't there. He finally looked at me and asked what I wanted. I reminded him that I needed a copy of notes off the board. He laughed again and asked if I was serious. I started to pull the letters out and he said, "Okay. Okay." He printed out 12 different boards on one sheet of paper. The writing was microscopic. I was too young to know that I had the right to argue, and/or press charges against him, for this one ordeal.
I was doing my homework later that evening, at our dining room table, and was holding the chemistry sheet, with the 12 boards on it, up to my eyes. My dad asked me what the H*ll I was doing. I told him my chemistry homework. He asked to see the page and was livid when he saw what the teacher had given me.
He and my mom complained to the vice principal and she spoke with the chemistry teacher. That really pissed him off. He started making my life in his class a nightmare, to the point where Mom and Dad convinced the vice principal to start sitting in on my classes with him.
One thing after another continued with this teacher, throughout the semester, and finally my dad scheduled a meeting between he and my mom, the vice principal, and the principal, to go talk with the chemistry teacher.
When they walked into his classroom, the teacher claimed he didn't have time for lectures. My dad didn't like that. Dad told the teacher that he was going to sit down and listen to what Dad had to say.
When they got out of the meeting, my mom looked shocked. As they came to take my brother and I home, Mom waved her hand in front of Dad's face and said, "I've never seen him (Dad) like that."
The following day, we had a substitute in that class, then later on in the day we were given notification that the former teacher had to "leave" the school. Everyone there who had interacted with the man was telling me to high five my dad!
Roughly two years later, the principal also had "leave" the school, after one of the guys in my senior class was loud in the hallway, after our snack break. The younger grades were doing their end of the year testing and this guy came in the hallway laughing with friends. The principal grabbed him by the collar, threw him up against the lockers in the hallway, and told him he needed to get out and get out now. The guy got in his car and drove across town to his mom's office. His mom was a lawyer. The principal didn't show up the next day and was later announced to have left for "personal reasons," but everyone knew it was so he wouldn't get his @$$ sued!

Teacher 1: wasnt fired but had a mental break down in class. See, he hated the color purple and made that known. So, naturally, middle schoolers did the only sensible thing. Everything was purple. The year after i graduated from his class, a student came in with a purple backpack. He flipped his shit and quit.
Teacher 2: high school german teacher. He would get distracted durring class on his laptop. Then one day he told the class he was the author of sex books then threatened the class to buy the book under pain of death. He did not show up to work the next day and my spanish teacher had to write the syllabus and prep subs the rest of the year. Doublly sucked since it was the same year my Spanish teacher's house burnt down in a wild fire

In 5th grade, my science teacher (who no one liked) showed us Supervolcano, a very graphic R rated movie that shows several people being burned alive through lava after Yellowstone erupts. He became the first teacher in the history of my school to be fired on their first year. I don't think this was the only thing that got him fired, but it was most likely the last straw. This teacher also did the following:
    - Assigned us to write Final Notes, which were basically just rambling essays on scientific topics, wrote "lol" on some worse parts of essays.
    - Had us do a lab that took three months long. In the last part of this lab, he decided that a bunch of 10 year olds should use matches to light highly flammable substances (this terrified even the lab assistant, who had 20+ years of experience)
    - Sent a kid out of class for doing something that I had done, even after I told him that I was the one who did it. During this he basically pulled a "Do not question the enlightened one"
    - Made us get binders that we were not allowed to take out of the science room, and I still plan to burn mine.
    - Gave us tests that were highly inflated in difficulty (this was a school that won many academic championships in my city, and completely crowding the History Bee Regionals)

Back when I was in middleschool (grades 6-8), we were forced to learn a new language each year (German in 6th grade, French in 7th grade and Spanish in 8th grade). This was solely because my highschool had 2 years of a language class be mandatory. So, my middle school figured that if the kids got taught a different language each year, then they'd have a much better idea of what they'd want to learn for Highschool. Seems simple, right?
Well my French teacher (7th grade), ABSOLUTELY HATED THIS RULE. He hated the fact that every kid in the entire grade had to learn French, because only a select few actually cared about it. He wanted French to be a "luxury, not a mandatory". He'd go into rants for our entire class period about how much better France is than America, including making us watch Patriotic French movies. He'd sprinkle in some more "risqué" French movies too. One class would be a Film about how amazing The French Revolution was, the next class would be a 60s French porno movie, and then the class after that was documentarys about France in WW2. This happened all year, with random French porno movies being played to 7th graders. My teacher tried to play it off as "cultural differences", but even a French kid would know how wrong it all was.
A few kids tried telling other teachers, but no one believed them, because this French teacher had been at that middle school for over 30 years. "There's no way he'd do something like that!". Then he started to masturbate to the French porno movies while they played. Honestly, he probably was doing it the entire time, but towards the end of the year he literally "got cocky" and showed our class his penis while he masturbated. Again, kids tried telling their parents/teachers, but no one believed us. Everyone was convinced that there was no way a predator was in the middleschool for 30 years, and a few kids were even given detentions for "lying to the Principal". One of the secretaries straight up told me that she thought it was just a big lie my class was doing, so that we could get out of school early (by this point, it was nearing summer vacation).
Eventually, summer came and went, and my 8th grade year started. A few month into the school year, I was in the school's library (it was nearby the French teachers room) and I saw him playing a porn movie (with his dick out) through the tiny window on his door. I immediately ran over to get the librarian, who went "ugh, not this lie again! Mr. French teacher is HIGHLY RESPECTABLE MAN! I will not take such disobedience! Lyinh gets you...no where...oh my god". The librarian saw what was going on through the window and barged in like a Quarterback. A lot of yelling and fighting happened between the librarian and the French teacher, which ended in them both getting arrested and fired.
The worst part was that the "cultural differences" BS worked in court. My French teacher was found not guilty for anything but fighting the librarian. He was told to serve a few months under house arrest, and the second his time was up, he flew to France. The librarian also had to serve house arrest and currently is a stay at home mom.

The reason the teacher was fired wasn't weird, it's what she did afterwards that was.
She was allegedly fired for cussing a kid out, I wasn't in the period it happened so I don't know, so we had a substitute for last quarter of the school year for her class.
So here's the weird part. The summer after I had her, I was at a Burger King playing Yu-Gi-Oh (you could tell how popular I was) and I got up to buy me and a friend a couple of drinks. As I'm waiting in line, some lady comes up behind me, taps me on the shoulder, and says, "Hi, see you next year" and leaves. I thought nothing of it, got some sodas, and sat back down. But then I checked my phone, and everyone in the group chat I was in just so happened to be talking about this teacher, and I had the sudden realization of, "Holy Shit, that was Ms. Carter!"
What's weird is that I'm almost positive she was already fired by this point.

He beat a 11th grader and his older brother 21 yo to within an inch of their life after he caught them trying to force a very obviously terrified 6th grade from the middle school next door into their truck. The school tried to stop charges from being filed against the offenders because they were the principals kids. And the girl being taken was the daughter of his ex wife and her new husband. The legal battle is still going on to prove the the plot was organized by the principle. And the teacher was never seen again after that day. Assume he was fired and left. Some say he was killed but I doubt that the principle would want to do that after already having a legal fight for attempted abductiom.

A history teacher in 9th grade ran a “toys for tots drive in his class.” But it was later discovered that he never actually donated the toys and kept them for his own kids or something like that. He was arrested for fraud and fired immediately.
Later in high school there was a substitute teacher. Thin, older, quirky guy but he was pretty well liked. Didn’t see him there again after junior year. One day near the end of senior year me and a friend we’re browsing around Walmart and ran into him there my friend who knew him a little better talked with him for a few minutes. Afterwards he told me that he had been not allowed to come back to the school to substitute because he apparently let a girl sit in his lap. And I have seen him several times out and about disheveled and homeless. Once I passed him going down the road on a bike, another time sitting outside a gas station corner store at another time at a concert. What the actual f*uk I thought. How was this weirdo ever allowed to work in the school?

Very popular English teacher at my school, albeit after I graduated, was busted for having a sexual relationship with a student. They were caught by the lake not far from campus. It isn’t very often you find kiddy diddlers who like to be romantic

Seriously going through the nanking massicre with 12 year olds is disturbing. I generally dont blink at stuff like that but the nanking massicre was much more disturibing than the halocaust. During the halocaust they just killed people, the nanking massicre is some nasty friked up stuff. And before someone says that nothing can be worse than the nanking massicre go read about what they did, and made families do before they killed them.

I got a substitute teacher fired, not a teacher. This sub was a favorite among us because he told us good jokes and let us listen to music during class, but one day during lunch, I was trying to stop being friends with a girl (she was clingy and psycho so I wanted her out of my life) and when the girl went back to her lunch table to cry and throw a fit, the sub (who was on lunch duty) got involved, called me a bitch and told the girl "she was so much better than me." He actually lectured me til lunch ended. My best friend and I went home and told our mothers (our moms were best friends too.) The next day, my mother went to the principle and the sub was fired. TL;DR Substitute teacher put himself in my business, called me a bitch and I got him fired.

    1. stupid reason. HS teacher was caught cross dressing at a bar a few towns over (2008). literally noone was hurt. he was pushed into early retirement.
2.HS secretary was having an online affair. guy sent her some naked pics. couldnt save them on the home computer b/c hubby could see. so they were saved to hers at the school
3.a HS teacher was rumored to be sleeping with a student. rumor was only that it was a science teacher. The new science teach transfers to another school near by. that wasnt weird. new teachers got transferred a lot around the area. no big deal. two years later, he was arrested for sleeping with a student at the new school. (yes the rumor was true at mine)

Dr Wittenberg, oxford Ohio, principal or vp at talawanda.
He was a bad person. Feel free to look him up.
I was always having to deal with him cause i have a mouth that says shit with 0 regard for its own well being. This guy was a sad, tiny, "man" who enjoyed being a bully principal. One year we had a new teacher fresh out of college and she was incredibly pretty and young, both things he was not. This tiny "man" got this brilliant idea of how he would attempt to talk to the new, pretty, young teacher. He called her into his office and the news papers said he pulled his junk out and gave her these options.... suck my **** or you're fired....
    This is not a joke.
    This is not exaggerated.
    This happened.

Dear teachers, stop talking to your coworkers! Clock in, check in office for whatever and go to your classroom, it sucks but as we all hear it’s necessary. “I’m here to teach and get paid, not be your friend” should be at the front of your mind day 1! Thank you for your service 💜
