Got mine from RDSC and love it has a fixed stock and is super smooth! Best option out here in Canada nicer trigger and a lot softer shooting than my T81 , definitely superior in all aspects
I've been wanting a reliable/good 7.62x39 rifle. People's experience with M+M (specially in canada) hasn't been the best. I think i'll wait and see when the M10X+ hits the canadian market if it's generally finally fixed or not.
from my conversation with them at Shot show in january, they have now optimized them for the Canadian market o handle to Surplus stuff a lot better. i should be getting my hands on one im a few months and ive got lots of chinese surplus to put throught it
This is a booth that I would've walked right on by lol None of the improvements listed included better retained charging handles, better feed ramp geometry, more durable action components, more durable ejection port and better accuracy.
The charging handle retains just fine if properly installed. No problems with the feed ramp and the action is about as durable as you can make something like this and way stronger than it needs to be. We average about 2 MOA with Wolf steel case ammo so not sure how much accuracy you're expecting to get with a 7.62x39mm caliber gun.
@@mm_industriessure, it's just that oodles and oodles of people are installing it the wrong way. Especially when they shoot it straight out of getting its warranty service th-cam.com/video/PA1oegJ11z8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c9DDdT8qt7a885MK.
I actually like the rifle very much but my only concern would be the ingress of mud and contamination into the rifle thought the charging handle slots in the receiver. If it became an issue some spring loaded covers could be fitted that are similar to the AK5 or some covers similar to the type SIG uses on some of their rifles could be fitted. 😎🇦🇺
I hear a lot of people complaining about the M10X and I personally own one. I have ran it through several hundred rounds using Soviet and Chinese Surplus ammo and had no issues with it while using Magpul, Stock and Korean OEM mags with it as well. I purchased mine in Spring of 2020. Not sure how long it sat on the shelves, and or what Gen it is, but it has the Hogue pistol grip and Zukov stock and is the normal barrel and M Lock hand guard length. I keep hearing from certain channels and comments that the new Gen 2's are sub par which is a shame. Can anyone elaborate more on this?
@@EpikArms I really want one but too scared to try at that price they want for it... still keeping an eye out for it though. a lot of those issues may indeed be ammo related. maybe magazine related too with our pinned mags. but the multiple reports of the bolt beating itself up and the barrel not installed straight doesn't really sound like an ammo issue.
Heard/seen nothing but horror stories about M+M and the M10X in Canada, The Magpul grip being replaced with a cheapo $10 grip without telling the costumers, warrantee never really fixing the issues people have, firing pins breaking and not to mention the malfunctions watched a video of a guy putting almost 1000 rounds through his gun had to warrantee it 3 times and still fails to feed every 1-17rds with steel and 2-32 rounds with brass ammo. Looks like an awesome gun but with the reputation they've made up here its hard to justify the $2k CAD price tag. And I would not be surprised that the reviews that hype this gun up are cherry picked rifles. And its such a shame cause I love the AK platform, but there illegal up here so the M10X was gonna be the next best thing but sadly not, guess were sticking to the type 81 and Vz.58. unless they can rebuild the customer confidence in there product. Edit: all the issues I've seen were when following the owners manual to a tee (and instruction from M+M/there old Warranty Center North Sylva), and also trying to just make it work after that fails.
I bought one about 6 months ago; nothing but problems since. Chinese corrosive ammo fails 1/5 rounds. Non corrosive Chec Surplus fails 1/10 rounds. total garbage platform.
They are still running the same bolt carrier as they did in every generation, which happened to be the biggest problem of this rifle. The quality of the steel is terrible and the bolt carrier gets worn out pretty fast. They are a cheap company and they address everything else, except the part that causes super fast wearing out of the bolt carrier. I mean we are talking $100 part to get improved, but with cheap skates who run this company, they don't give a shit about their business and success of this firearm. My suggestion, stay away from it.
We are actively listening to feedback and working on making things better with every single production run. In terms of improvements, our bolt carriers have undergone significant enhancements over the past two years. We switched to plasma nitration, which has increased the hardness on the cam lug. Additionally, we changed the geometry to make it much smoother with a lower break-in count, allowing it to use a larger variety of ammo.
Did they fix the bolt eating itself?

I'm wondering how this does shooting cheap red box non corrosive ammo. And how it shoots using PMC Bronze ammo.

did they manage to fix all the horror story issues?
From my conversations with them, the issue only occur or most frequently occur with out crappy Chinese ammo. I don't know if they made the changes

Its basically an AK 521 with some original ak12 going on. To me its a modern AK or where the AK should be.

The Vz 58 models, are banned in Canada, as of OAC (Order In Counsel) 2020! Unfortunately not much to choose in a Ak-Sig type configuration.
Great soft shooting rifle about the same than my AR. for sure much softer than the AK
Very Nice ''🙂
Very Robinson XCR'ish

All US made. Not possible without outsourcing overseas.
when will canada get a x39 rifle that isnt trash and isnt Chinese? do i need to hit the drawing board?? sigh.

My PSA AR47 just runs.
Need to change it in the 6.5 Grendel still you AK47 mags have a 22 inch heavy barrel on it giving range
They should just go back to the orginal M10 AKM. Was a way better rifle for a much more affordable price.
No thanks , after three trips to the factory they never had it working Gen2
