it’s a favorite of mine. I can say the same for the Merchant Ivory film. It has a stellar cast.

I loved it! Kind of wish I read it in the summer, but the winter will have to do. I think one of the lead actors from the film adaptation has recently gone missing in the California mountains. How sad!
