I think I can say without concern of contradiction that the British military bands have turned out more quality musicians than any other organization in the world. This band has an extremely solid sound for such a small contingent. Great trombone section and balanced sound really stand out. Thanks for posting the video.

My old Regiment, nostalgic to say the least. Very few if any of these bandsmen served with me. During my day there were 26 tank regiments, today there is barely 10.

That's great. I wish I could see a video of my late husband in the 11th Hussars band, but it was too long ago (1950)

Brilliant band brings back memories of serving with the LAD of the Queens Royal Irish Hussars in the 60's.

Funny! - I didn't notice 'Nipper Riley' in, this video 'clip'!! Usually, he is spotted in, most, videos of The Royal Hussars Band!
I played in, this band in the, early '1980's'!!

An excellent piece of video from what was the Regimental Band of Lancashire's Armoured Regiment, although there are musicians from both forming bands on this parade judging by the music holders. Pity they are no longer around.

A very nice show by this fine regimental band. This was just before 1994 downsizing the band still had a nice number of 25 pieces. The music is "On Parade" followed by "Al Abanico" "Post Horn Gallop" and the march off is "Col. Bogey" The band did many shows like this in Germany as part of the Britsi Army on the Rhine in NATO.

I agree. Kneller Hall is a great place to study music.

Shame to see the regimental bands go away now. Many of the regiments had fill ins hence the 14/20th with the RH, however Calvary remain Calvary

On a closer look they look like a mixture of both regiments. They must have carried out engagements together prior to the amalgamation.

This looks like the band of the 14/20 Kings Hussars. They amalgamated with the Royal Hussars in 1992 to become the Kings Royal Hussars.

Fenbolge you are addressing your elder and this fellow who goes by the name of Colonel Klink is retired and most likely has done many years of service.
