Some of the car has rear camera for reversal purposes. If you add a dashcam with rear cam, much better to install inside. It looks awful if you have 2 cameras installed outside 😂
I put the rear camera inside and more closer to the glass, its awesome, get surrounding area like rear view mirror but wider and clearer. My question is why you need to turn it off the screen? it supposed to replace your rear view mirror, right?
Perhaps I'm not used to it, but I don't like the latency and I have trust and anxiety issues with using a digital screen as a rear view mirror, plus I think it should be better for the life of the display.
My reviews are impartial and based on my own opinions. I don't really think it's that great of a review either, I don't exactly see a full benefit of a full display rear view mirror. I've burnt many bridges with companies in the name of impartialness and proper representation of a product, to make sure the buyer is well informed.
