Gospel sensation, Pastor Neyi Zimu laid to rest

- Hundreds of mourners gathered at the Hope of Treasures Ministries in Alberton, south of Johannesburg, to bid farewell to gospel sensation, pastor Neyi Zimu.
Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu of the EFF, and Ekurhuleni mayor Mzwandile Masina, were among those attending the packed funeral service.

I am a Ugandan, I enjoyed Neyi Zimu's music and would sing along with him much as I did not understand the lyrics in his non-english songs. I thank God for his life, ministry and above all his generous heart which produced such beautiful and inspirational music. Condolences to the body of South African Christian brothers and sisters, family and friends of Neyi Zimu.
The Lord gives and HE takes away. May the soul of our dearly departed Neyi Zimu rest in eternal peace. Amen.
