Since becoming Catholic, I ache for the division among Christ's members. Pray for church unity, that we may all come to an understanding, that bias and bitterness on all sides of the fence may be be silenced so we can really talk to each other. Pray for the day no brethren are separated any longer, when we can be one in the Spirit and walk hand in hand to face the last trials of earth together.

I sang this in my church many times, years ago. This is a very beautiful song with very important lyrics. We all need to ask ourselves that very basic question from time to time: WOULD THEY KNOW that I am a Christian by my love?? If you're not sure, then what would you change so that they might know that you're a Christian?? Or what would you change so that they would DEFINITELY know that you are a Christian?? I will ask myself that question as well. *May God bless you today.
I am at that age where I don't know what I believe in but as someone who was raised Christian I have to say I really prefer the old hymns in minor key over the contemporary stuff. I also think this song is really beautiful because it is a reminder of the whole point of Christianity which is something that seems to be lost to the modern age as more and more churches are preaching hate.
Look for fellowship church.
Churches don't preach hate, but yes, a lot have gone astray, they have lost the fellowship, for prosperity and modernity.

I remember this song when I was attending a Catholic elementary school.
This song has stuck with me since 8 yrs of Catholic grammar school, except I changed it up to a Jazz version when I sing it. Plus I also like it as a 'call & response' song...?
I heard this song today at New Horizon United Methodist Church, in Southwest Ranches, Florida, it brought me back to when I was a young Catholic at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in Irvington, New Jersey. Great song!

Liberal, progressive policies in blue cities are causing social collapse, minorities overfilling the carceral system, rise in homelessness, and they are no longer charging violent felons, they release them. Add to this narcotics entering the country through Biden's unsecured border, plus Biden's inflationary economy that is laying it on heavy on the poorest, I would say Maga Catholics or Maga Christians represent love and compassion.
