Thanks for taking the time to review more of the Maison de la Vanille fragrances! I had a sample of vanille noire de Mexique and knew I liked it (smells similar to Kayli Vanilla 28 to me, and much cheaper), but I wasn't sure if I wanted to blind buy any of the other scents. Sounds like Noir Toscane is meeting our grapey-scented needs!

What a coincidence! I just ordered the coffret with the tobacco and raisin ones just this morning!! Now seeing your reactions, I'm super excited to get them in!! It's a set of 5 15ml bottles that also includes a vanille-fleur d'orange, a rose-vanille, and a vanille-muguet. We'll see how those go. I have a similar set of the others and the Mexique was my least fave of those. I was so nervous for you! 😂

I also got sucked in by the sale and the sample pack. I got 30ml bottles of the grape, the tobacco, the Mexican ones and Arty Positano which is supposed to smell like Kilian Love. It was quite astringent, do not recommend. If that is what Kilian Love smells like I will stay far away. I felt the same about the grape and the tobacco ones, they are both loves. I plan to get the tropical one, it smelled so good on my skin when I sampled it. I didn’t care for any of the other samples.

Thank you for warning me about the positano one cause I really like Killian love and would have fallen for that. Kilian love is very sweet and lovely smelling tbh not astringent at all
