    Tones of power. Not quite as big as an 8k

      A 16B was sized the same as a D7 out push an 8

    Did very poorly against the cat d7e. And the reason US army began importing d7e's to Vietnam. The hd-11 which was a smaller dozer did much better.

      D L find that hard to believe. A 16B like this wasn't built until after Vietnam, and an HD16 was just a 21 with no turbo, and slightly shorter track. A 21 would destroy a D8 so it doesn't seem possible that a D7 would outperform a 16. In reality the allis dozers out worked competitive machine size for size. An 11 was a 6 size would out push a 7, a 16 was a D7 size but would out push an 8

      Agreed. circa hit or miss 1970 B model came out. My friend said my 16b would probably outperform a d7g. I'd take mine over a d7e anyways.
