You have some of the better heiken ashi videos out there. A lot of people discount them because they don't accurately show price but if used in the context that you present here as momentum based on the range of the bar, they become very powerful. Thanks for the videos!

Thanks so much At Stochastic extremes look for Relative Strength of Stock and Range of Candles. And prefer using standard Stochastic settings. This should help. Changing parameters will lead to more whipsaws.

Is it specific to your platform? I dont find this on Amibroker or Trading View. Nevertheless, there is no hard and fast rule for this. You should be in a position to understand structure of market. That's all. If possible, post a chart re your doubt.

Thank you Manju. I dont have problem with people charging for what they teach. I would do it too, but I don't have that much free time at my disposal. Elearning is a different platform and their goals dont align with mine. Re Strategies, if you look at most of my videos, they are focused on decoding Price action. If I have to put a number to it, then for Intraday trades, VWAP is one strategy that I use too often. For Swing Trades, combination of Pullback & Heiken Ashi along with Renko and PNF. For positional trades, combination of Market Profile, Volume Profile and PA Setups. Hope this helps.

Thanks Rajeev. In general, yes you need to adjust things across time frames. If 100 MA you are using on Daily time frame, I would then use 200 MA on 5 minutes. This is if you are referring to Daily time frame trend to trade on 5 min time frame.

I have plotted them all and they don't look like what is demonstrated on your video. Do I have to modify one of them? This is the first video that I think I understood completely and looks very promising. I watched more than two times and still could not see if you discussed about stop loss. This is one area that I am struggling to cope up with. Please let me know if there is any rule to fix the stop loss in this strategy or I have to exit whenever the loss is not acceptable to me. I wish there is a rule.
Hi Lakshmi, SL is very trader specific and depends on underlying risk one takes. This is why I dont force my SL rules on others. For this strategy, the lowest low will be the SL when you enter. This is more applicable when Stoch moves above the 30 region. Hope this helps.

Good to know this. Yes Sachin you can do the same. Refer to 30 min time frame chart. But trade in the direction of broader market trend. Odds of success will increase.

I use HA with Stochastic RSI, 14,3,3, basically as you point out here on ALL timeframes. It works.

In general, yes you need to adjust things across time frames.
If 100 MA you are using on Daily time frame, I would then use 200 MA on 5 minutes.
This is if you are referring to Daily time frame trend to trade on 5 min time frame.
How do you scan for stocks for Heiken Ashi entries?
I don’t scan for entry. I prefer manually studying charts.

60 min is something you can look at.
You have clearly described about buying zone. But if one is trading swing, what will be the exit point of trade?

Hi TWT! TOS's has 9 Stochastic studies to choose from and none of them are just plain and simple Stochastics indicated by this video. I have plotted them all and they don't look like what is demonstrated on your video. Do I have to modify one of them? I have Doubled Smooth Stochastic, Ehler's Stochastic, Stoch-Crossover, Stoch-Fast, Stoch-Full, Stoch-FullDiff, Stoch-MACD, Stochastic Momentum Index and Stoch-Slow. For application with Heiken Ashi as guided by this video--which is best for me to choose? Thank You for welcoming all doubts no matter what. Feeling Grateful :)

This is the first video that I think I understood completely and looks very promising. I watched more than two times and still could not see if you discussed about stop loss. This is one area that I am struggling to cope up with. Please let me know if there is any rule to fix the stop loss in this strategy or I have to exit whenever the loss is not acceptable to me. I wish there is a rule.
Hi Lakshmi, SL is very trader specific and depends on underlying risk one takes. This is why I dont force my SL rules on others.
For this strategy, the lowest low will be the SL when you enter. This is more applicable when Stoch moves above the 30 region.

Sir had taken a trade with your statergy on vwap+moving average on vwap statergy last week on Larsen and turbo on 5 minutes chart ,made a good profit of 35 points.One question sir if want to remain in trade do we have to look for higher time frame profile like 15 minutes or 30 minutes kindly suggest

Yes Sachin you can do the same. Refer to 30 min time frame chart. But trade in the direction of broader market trend. Odds of success will increase.
