Location, Removal & Replacement of a broken Glove Box Damper on a 2019 Ford F-350. Same process works for all 2017 to 2020 Ford Super Duty Trucks F-250 & F-350.

Took my 22 Ford Bronco to the dealer for routine service; left; finally opened my glove box to find I couldn’t close it back up. Turns out this arm piece came dislodged (probably by a lazy mechanic during the service). Anyway, this video helped me re install it properly thanks

Yay!! I was at a stop light (driving) and reached over to open and grab a napkin out of the glovebox... far far reach. I guess my hand was too heavy and pulled the damn thing to the ground. UGH!!! Thanks to your video, (and thank goodness nothing broke) - I was able to get the glove box back together instead of taking this to a Dealership to be robbed blind. Thanks again!

Wonderful! A week after I broke the gear housing replacing the cabin filter this shows up on my recommended list.
Anyway, repaired it with JB Weld Plastic Repair epoxy. Works fine.

Lol. That's exactly how I broke mine previously. Sure is nice to have such a flimsy part be so dang hard to snap off of the glove box.

Thanks for the video. This also applies to things like the 07-13 Lincoln Navigators. They do not use the same one, but the process is very similar.

Lol. Same. I was a little too rough with it my first time. Made a video replacing the cabin air filter. And realized that maybe someone else would screw up too. So i made a video for the damper too.😅

Just got the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor and it doesn't come with the damper. I was wondering if this part could fit on it

Mine is a covid build...doesn't have one...they forgot to put it in I guess....stupid glove box pops out on the left side all the time with minimal weight on it ..maybe I can install this to keep it from falling fast and coming past lock on left side ....?? We shall see if it has the place for one ..

My bad dude, just looked again and the 8 dollar one was for a Ford EcoSport on getoemparts.com It came up as an option when I googled for an F350. Looks the same but shorter.
