When everyone was talking about making a small farm in the Plains, I envisioned a small hut to house a portal and a small walled in farm, but no, Kills has to show the rest of us how to build a really nice farm/base 🤣 Seriously though, the build looks great, you did a fantastic job. Although there are no real statues at this stage, there are ornaments that people sometimes put on buildings, like the wooden dragon, birds or wolf, but maybe a ward would look nice, especially if you raised it by using the small floor piece as a shelf and sitting the ward on it. I don't know how much gold you have now (and be prepared you will need a lot later for some items at the trader) but did you know the Dverger Circlet you buy of Haldor can be mounted on an item stand to light up things below it. Using that above whatever decoration you put in would look fantastic.
I'm poor in game lol. I spent all my gold on junk I didn't need haha.
I will have a look through the stuff I can build and see what I can put in there.

Perhaps you should consider putting bees in your new farm.. it’ll help them grow faster
I didn't know that bees did that to a farm. I will be adding them to the new base.
That's a very fancy Yurt shaped cabin farm 😅 and great you finally like the stone stairs. I think if you plant grass, it might grow plains type scene, like when you built grass on Black forrest territory it came out different from meadows grass ( haven't tried myself, so am not confident ). Oh and I think it would look nice with braziers or bonfires on the little side plataus halfway down the stairs and not only in the middle 😉. This is a great build, am really liking it!
its nice to see someone build legitimately. All ive seen are those stupid god mode flying garbage vids lately.
I find that having to gather the stuff to build with is a big part of the game. I like the building in this game and it's relaxing.
All this for a flax farm lol It is a really fantastic, creative build tho.

There's a mod called Terrain reset. It does exactly as you would think; alt+right click with a hoe makes the terrain go back to how it was before you started digging.
